We had problems with the TBS7000RD from the first day of use with the control arm that adjust the spread quantity. We would set it and it would not keep the setting. We had to come up with creative ways to keep the handle at the setting desired.
The bolts and the powder coated cover of the control arm rusted through along with the control arm (it broke this year, year 2.5). The best parts of this spreader are the wheels and the plastic tub to hold what we are spreading. The bolts and the metal used on this spreader should be stainless steel not galvanized metal so they do not rust.
