Does The Job
The Lift meets overall requirements for lifting a heavy Zero turn mower. It arrived in just a few days and was moderately difficult to assemble. It easily lifted my Toro MX 5050. I felt secure crawling under the heavy mower which it lifted well above that of my old car ramps. The cranking mechanism is either damaged or cheaply made as it grinds loud when cranking. It feels like the gears are grinding making it more difficult to crank. It does not crank smoothly. Note: As of this review, I have not contacted Mower Direct to determine if the crank is damaged.
I used it a second time to lift a heavier John Deere Zero Turn. Though I used the supplied wheel straps, the front tires nearly slipped off the wheel chocks.. I had to double chock the rear tires and even then the lift tilted forward partly off the ground. I rocked the lifted mower and determined it was safe to crawl under the mower to replace the three cutting blades.
Though the lift folds up for wall storage, hanging it on the wall is not realistic. The lift is heavy and awkward to lift more than a few feet even when partly disassembled for storage.
Overall the lift functions as described and is a quality product except for the cheaply made hand crank mechanism. The Lift meets overall requirements for lifting a heavy Zero turn mower. Why Didn't I Buy One Sooner
At 69 with a 60" Dixie Chopper it was a major pain to keep the deck clean and the blades swapped, this think made it so easy, 10 minutes deck cleaned and back on the ground.

I Got What I Paid For
The steel was heavy and the paint seems to be high solids cover. The wheels have valves, the pins, nuts, bolts, nuts all top notch. The design appears to have evolved over many iterations to provide super simple and effective results. The crank handle was not drilled to provide adequate clearance for my JD weed guard. The wheel supports were adequate, definitely use choks and the straps. The straps were adequate. Overall welds were sound and clean
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Exceeded Expectations, I'd Buy It Again Cons: Bad Instructions, INSTRUCTIONS PICTURES WERE NOT GREAT Tim Recommends This MoJack ProductTim's Experience With Mowers Direct "Easy setup!!!" more Was this review helpful? 1 0 |

Good Product
Worked well for my X580 John Deere. Lifted the mower easily and safely. Allows me to clean the deck and replace the blades in a safe manner. At 66 years old it is time to purchase a lift that easily allows me access to the mower deck and this unit does the trick nicely.

Hooray - No Parts Left Over
Always feel like I've accomplished something when, after assembly, there are no extra parts lying around.Unit easily lifts my Sears 17.5 hp riding mower and gives me just enough clearance to be able to scrape "muck" off the inside of the blade housings.
Wheel chocks definitely needed for back wheels. For storage, I remove the front wheel arms, leave the rest of the unit intact and store against a garage wall. I can then park the mower up against the winch arm.

Mojack Pro Is The One!
I researched and looked at various types of mower lifts, talked with several repair shops, they all raved on the MoJack PRO, so I ordered one. It's a great heavy duty lift! I have used it twice so far, works like a champ! Great lift! Even though it has a ratcheting lock that appears very safe and secure, and I have not heard of any issues with it. I still put a jack stand under the mower while I'm working under it, better safe than sorry. I gave it 4 stars on value only because it's a bit pricey! Folks at Mowers Direct were top notch as well. Mojack Pro For Heavy Ztr
Purchased this for reasons it can lift up to 750 lbs. Also liked the crank feature versus a foot pump. also the ratchet lock vs some others I saw with a foot pump brand.
Only thing disappointing was how easy it is to store. You have to disassemble quite a bit to store off the floor.

Great Lift
I have a very large Gravely zero turn and the MoJack makes cleaning the underside of the deck easy.
My old method was to wrap a few chains around the front end, then use the front end loader on my tractor to lift it up. That method worked but it was a pain.
My original method was to use my engine hoist but to constantly dig that out and set it up was a bigger pain than using the tractor.
As far as I am concerned, they should offer the MoJack as an option with every zero turn sold. I have a very large Gravely zero turn and the MoJack makes cleaning the underside of the deck easy.

A Must Have For The Professional Or Homeowner
I've got a full size Zero Turn and have tried several other options for jacking it up to change blades and scrape the deck.
After trying a bunch of options I decided to spend the $$ And get the MoJack. My main reason for pulling the trigger on this was the redesign they just completed for the Pro (and their EZ for smaller mowers) and also the ability to lift the front up 28" for extra clearance.
The more compact design is what I was seeking and this is one great product. It's HEAVY.......as in 120# heavy but it will last a lifetime.
Took about 20 minutes to assemble and I was in business. It is a snap to disassemble for storage but it still takes up a fair amount of space so it's not quite as "compact" as it may seem.
Other than that it's a great addition to the garage for routine maintenance on your mower, highly recommended. I've got a full size Zero Turn and have tried several other options for jacking it up to change blades and scrape the deck.

Makes Mower Deck Cleaning A Lot Safer And Easier
Bought this device to make raising my JD 997's safer and easier than hooking a chain on the bucket of my loader and the front of the 997. After raising the bucket I would block the deck in case the machine lowered unexpectedly with me under the deck.
The Mojack made things a lot simpler. It is easy to operate and I feel safe under the elevated deck. It is not cheap, but you can't put a price on your safety. I actually find myself cleaning the decks of my 997's and changing the blades more often. Good
1. Heavy, well made lift. Zinc coated parts. So good attention to details.
2. Metric fasteners. You'll need a 17mm, 19mm, and 22 mm wrench/socket.
3. Instructions are good. There is a fair amount of assembly.
4. The winch can use a drill (yes!) and the winch handle has 2 settings (short & long).
5. The wheels are very stiff pneumatic that have a strong odor and the tire air fitting is very difficult to get to. I'm replacing the wheels with flat free ones.
6. The straps use open hooks. Blah. Snap hooks would be better.
7. The instructions call for wheel chocks. No product photos show wheel chocks. Boo. 1. Heavy, well made lift. Zinc coated parts. So good attention to details.

Heavy Construction, Does The Job.
The corrugated shipping container is essentially two boxes, one inside the other. So the overall packaging is good. However the internal dividers, spacers, void fillers, etc. are poorly done. There were pieces of corrugated scattered throughout the inner box, doing little good. As a result, one of the forks that hold the axle for one of the wheels was bent, so the wheel could not fit. This is heavy steel, so I needed a sledge hammer to straighten it out. Then the wheel and axle fit well.
The other issue is the yellow tie down straps they provide. They are not long enough to wrap around the 17" diameter wheels I have on my John Deere X739 tractor. When I emailed Jose to ask for help, he said he could send me new ones, but they would be the same length. They simply need to be 2-3 inches longer to allow a good grip to pull the straps tight.
Lastly, the cranking procedure requires a strong effort. I am 6'-4" and 260, so believe me when I tell you it takes some muscle. I did not try the electric drill, since I guessed it would knock me on my can.

Does What It Is Supposed To Do
Assembly simple but there were two parts missing in the box - a bolt for the wheel and one clipping pin. All in all though it is a good product. Lifts easily and stays secure.

The crank handle is to long when cranking up a lawn tractor........ and the company dose not make a shorter one ....... I paid 5 dollars to my local welder guy .... He shortened in by 2 inches ... and not it works great..... Being that this has been a problem , why don't they make a change ?
The only other thing I had go wrong was that I cranked it all that way to the top .... and could not get it down.I had two men life it up and off the wheel lock area.... seems that there need to be a locking /or blocking bolt so people like me want get into this fix. Best Assistant Out There
I bought my MoJack Pro last year because due to some injuries that prevent me from physically moving my lawn tractor around like I used to be able to do, I needed a way to get underneath my tractor to work on the mower deck.
This by far is the sturdiest and easiest lifting mechanism I believe to be on the market. It has made working on my lawn tractor so much easier. It is more expensive than the others and so much sturdier too.

Terrific Product !!!!
I wanted something super safe to lift my Toro Titan zero turn radius mower so I could clean the deck (recycling) and change my blades. The MoJack PRO has met and exceeded all my expectations. The actual lifting process is easy and once the mower is up it is as solid as a rock. Also I might add that the instructions and actual process of assembling the MoJack PRO were great. I own my own landscaping company and recently bought a MoJack.
I can’t tell you the time it has saved me in my mower maintenance. I never had a safe and easy way to get under some of my bigger ZTRs.
I’m now able to us a compression drill while it is on the jack. I’m amazed at the way it lifts such a large mower with ease.

Even if you usually take it to the shop it saves you the time by being able to do it at home and the money by doing it yourself.

It's Great!
Our large X-Mark zero turn mower had been neglected maintenance-wise due to the difficulty in raising the beast safely. No excuses now that the MoJack has arrived.

Good Lift (but)
Had the MoJack since 9/14 used it for first time yesterday. It lifted my Ferris zero turn fine, when I went to lower the mower it went down approx 1/2 foot and stopped. I finally got it down the rest of the way, but seems there may be a problem where the cam doesn't release all the way. When I went to store the unit, I couldn't raise the tower so it would collapse. I've checked the directions and believe I'm doing everything correctly. Can Mowers Direct help me?

Suggestion
Okay, I have a big Husqvarna with a crash bar on the front. When you lift it up it only goes half way because the arm, even at the shorter hole, hits the bar. It is too much trouble to take the bar off the tractor. If there was an accessory, like a wheel that fit on in place of the arm or an adapter to use a power drill, it would be better than using the opposite side to lift the unit. Otherwise it works great.

Nice Invention, Too Expensive
For something that was $450.00 I expected it to be a lot better. Do not get me wrong it is definitely a handy contraption. However it is very bulky, heavy, and therefore difficult to get around. I also wish that for what I spend I would have gotten more.
