Cons And Pro
I added a lock pin to the rear of the pickup chute. It kept sliding out therefore losing vacuum/suction. The unit does a reasonable job, but regularly jams up. The instructions suck consider having them rewritten or just show photos.
Pros: Easy To Use, It Does Pick Up The Grass
Cons: Bad Instructions, Expensive

I bought this from this site and was told that it was the proper piece of equipment for the cub cadet tractor. First thing..the most expensive part that came with this appeared to be the blades.

These were for a 50 and 54 inch deck. The 50 inch deck blades did not fit my tractor, at least 1/4 inch too long on each end..Same thing for the baffles that were included. As soon as I assembled and tried to mow, the chute clogged.

I tried this the other day with dry grass and still clogged. So,... more

Installation Was A Problem.
I am very handy and have little or no problem assembling any device. I purchase the lawn bagger for the tractor to reduce spring and fall cleanup. I also do a lot of gardening and planned to use the rear bagger to better handle these chores.

The issue was with the assembly. The plastic side attachments to the bagger were not only difficult to snap in place, but cracked during installing. I was disappointed with the quality of this rear bagger, especially with the cost.

I have... more

Lloyd's Experience With Mowers Direct
Web Site

"The cub cadet riding lawn mower was a value. The rear bagger plastic parts cracked during installation. My recommendation would be to modify the rear mount piece or provide a lubricate to make the part slide on easier. Also, I paid for two sets of lawn mower blades, each for different mower styles that must of increased the cost of the rear bagger. This information was not clear when making the decision. Since I broke the side plastic mounts, I did think it was appropriate to contact mowers direct for replacement parts. I would not recommend this purchase, because for the price of the bagger which should installed without issues. That was not my experience. As a honest consumer and the broken parts being my responsibility, I would be happy to change this review with the appropriate customer service response from mowers direct as a result of this review."

Jams Non-stop
I bought a LTX1050KW just to use for bagging my lawn. It is very frustrating as this bagger constantly jams. I had the dealer (a family business dealer, not a big box store) add the bagger kit to the mower. I have to take the chute completely apart every 15-20 minutes of mowing and pull all the packed grass out by hand. My 15 year old Lawn Chief rarely jammed the chute mowing the same lawn for years.
