Precision Products 15 Gallon 12 Volt Trailing Sprayer

I should have used it sooner!

I purchased this sprayer and did not assemble it for a while due to time commitments. However, because bahia grass was being such a nuisance in my yard I was having to mow every week. A few weeks ago I used the sprayer with MSMA 6+ in the tank. One application killed the bahia, and I now mow the grass when I want to since it doesn't grow as fast and the sprayer worked flawlessly. I highly recommend it.

As a side note, there was some discoloring of the grass for a week or two, but it is back to normal now.

I received the TCT15 a few days ago. Easy to assemble and the frame/hardware appear to be high quality but time will tell. I modified the wiring harness to connect to my headlight switch instead of using the supplied on/off switch. I highly recommend doing this if possible. The hand held sprayer works great when the boom sprayers are switched off via the valve by the pump. The only negative I can see is in the spray tips that spray a fine mist out instead of down so in the slightest breeze, there is considerable drift. This can be easily remedied with 80 degree down-spray tips. The instruction manual talks about different tips for desired coverage but then doesn't say anything about where to get them. Fortunately I was able to find them at Tractor Supply for a few dollars.

No quality inspection done before shipping this item. Disappointing when I was ready to use it immediately.

Much easier than spraying by hand.

My initial purpose for purchasing this sprayer was to put down Round-Up on the 2 acre lot on which we have recently constructed a new home and for which I am doing all of the yard and landscaping installation. Assembly and use of the unit was simple and performance has met or exceeded expectations. Performance of the hand-held sprayer wand is an added bonus. It can be used to spray large but difficult to access areas, or to target individual plants.
