Answer
Rich - the only difference in these two units is the location of the throttle control lever. The "T" model has the throttle control mounted on the blower tube. The "F" model has the throttle control mounted on the frame. The tube mounted throttle control is the more popular of the two.

Answer
Dave,
The difference lies in where the throttle control is mounted.
On the BTS, the "T" stands for tube. The throttle is mounted directly on the blower tube so you would control the tube and throttle simultaneously.
On the BFS, the "F" stands for frame. The throttle is mounted on the opposite side of the tube on the lower left side of the frame.
