The online superstore basically slashed its advertising budget and is passing the savings onto savvy, off-season shoppers.

The End of Season Sale won't last forever. In fact, most models will be sold out before the sale officially ends at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve.

Once MowersDirect.com sells out of an individual model, the sale expires on that model.

Mowers Direct doesn't plan to reorder any lawn mowers until 2010.
