Q: How long does the operate on a single charge? by Karen O'Reilly from Minnesota on May 14, 2011
A: Karen - on a full charge, this mower will run for about 40 - 45 minutes. It is recommended for yards that are between 1/4 acre and 1/3 of an acre in size. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: Can this Worx model cut lawns that have (sm - med) slops?
Do you anticipate Worx making self propelle mowers anytime soon? by Marty from Georgia on March 26, 2011
A: This unit would still be able to be used on small to medium slopes in the yard.
In terms of the self propelled option, not quite sure. The problem is, you would most likely need a larger motor to have an option like self propel. In order to achieve something like this, usually the cost can go up dramatically. So a lot of companies choose not to take a route like this so they can keep their costs down.
Purchased mower last year. Returned it this year. Engine ran great and had plenty of battery for average size lawn but didn't cut evenly at all. Not enough power to lift grass from tire tracks in lawn. Left lots of mohawk patterns in lawn.

first mow and very happy
I got the mower out of the box and had it assembled in about ten minutes- very simple. I did let the battery charge for over 24 hours. The instructions say you only need to charge over night, but I saw some other reviews that said they were getting better battery performance if it charged 24 hours.
We just moved into a new house and I have an extremely small yard so battery life shouldn't be a problem for me. The weeds and weed grasses had grown to about 8 to 10 inches in my back yard. My WG780 cut right through and never bogged down. I even let it mulch and that didn't have any problems cutting through.
After one yard cutting I am very happy with this mower. Easy to push, very quiet, easy to start… and hey, no gas which just jumped over $3 per gal here in TX.
I sure am looking forward to tearing up these weeds and planting a nice Bermuda lawn to use my new mower on.
Our last house had a huge yard and I cut that lawn with my tractor. I will certainly miss my tractor, but my wife promised I could buy a new one when we move back to a larger yard.
The only reason I gave “Features” a 3 was because Worx doesn’t offer a self-propelled model. Note to Worx: If you do make a self propelled, make sure the front wheels do the driving. Rear wheel drive is too difficult to control while turning.

Pros & Cons
Pros - Much quieter than gas mower, lighter, slightly easier to maneuver, little to maintain.
Cons - Have about a third to half acre but it could barely cut half of it. Underpowered for thick grass.
Looking forward to 36V model.

It Works As Good As It Look
To be honest, we were very skeptical about the Worx Eco Cordless Rechargeable Lawn Mower so we decided to put it to the test.
Surprisingly, it did great. It was quiet, durable and - most importantly - cut the grass well.
Check out our video review to see the Worx cordless lawn mower in action.
P.S. Did we mention that it looks fabulous! :)

Pleasantly Surprised!
Coming from a small community the last thing that anyone thinks about is using an electric mower.
I would always laugh at the few people that would be out on a Saturday dragging around a cord while trying to mow their lawn. So the thought of an electric mower just never accurred to me.
I had a chance to use the WORX and was pleasantly surprised after using it. I honestly could not even tell that I was using an electric mower. The cut that was provided by the Worx was no different than that of a regular gas powered mower.
So, to say the least, I think that my next purchase of a mower will probably be an electric cordless mower and I will allow myself to become eco-friendly.
