Love my Worx Trimmer
I love my Worx trimmer, but also had a battery failure the second season. I was ready to replace the trimmer when I found the free battery replacement site offered by Worx. I filled out the form for a free battery replacement and immediately received an email confirmation. My new battery arrived in eight days. The really great surprise is that they also sent six spools of replacement line. Worx is doing all they can to make good on these batteries and satisfy their customers.

Happy with Worx GT
Worx GT was given to me as a gift. It is one of the better gifts I have ever received. It's good quality, efficient , durable and helps me complete yard work in a very short period. I would recommend this product to anyone. It definitely accomplishes the tasks of trimming and edging with very little effort.

Worx GT edger and trimmer, blower, hedge trimmer rechargeable 18
I ordered these products as on seen TV and also ordered 2 battery packs and charger. It is advertised that they are long lasting and that is not true. I barely got started on trimming or edging and the battery started dying out. I would charge one battery as I used the other. Then not long after the purchase, the one battery would not recharge and finished the season last summer with only the one working battery. Come this spring, I used the tools with the one working battery maybe 4 times and the battery would not recharge like the first one. To replace a battery is very expensive and if I purchase another one, who knows how long it will last. So I have these tools that I can't use and paid a lot of money for them. My reason purchasing them was so I could do my lawn work because of their light weight and not having a long electrical cord as I have an acre property and I have Multiple Sclerosis. Needless to say, it did not deliver what it promised and advertised and I am not happy about it and a bit annoyed.

Battery wont last as advertised
Original purchase was 7/15/10, with two batteries. From day one, one battery would last about 20-30 seconds. The other about 4 minutes. This year, one battery will not charge, the other is 20 seconds. Their batteries are a dud, and the company knows it. I will never purchase a "WORX" product again.

This is a piece of junk
Worx doesn't know how to do good business. My advice to anyone thinking of buying this piece of junk is to think twice. This product works find at first and that's it. There after it's one problem after another with the battery. What I really don't understand is that Worx won't even take your call. They deliberately left a recorded message to frustrate callers. What I am going to do is to mount a rigorous campaign to get this problem resolved. All previous customers will register their names and we should consider suing them. I am so they will sit up and take notice that they cannot just treat people as they do.

Company should refund!!!!
I have never been so mad about a product. We bought a WG151.5 last year and used it only a couple of times before mowing was over with. To my surprise, when we went to use it this year, it won't hold a charge. I have read that this is known by the company and they are telling us to buy a new battery that won't last any longer than the first one. What happened to Better Business? For what we had to pay for it, we should be able to send the string trimmer back to the company and have them refund the full price. I would not buy another product from them!!!!

BAD BATTERY
Used It Three Times and Then Put It Up For the Winter and Now Battery Does Not Keep a Charge. Called Worx For Two Days Now and No Answer. If This Is the Customer Service They Have, It Is Better You Get Another Brand That Has Someone to Handle a Call. I Do Not Recommend It.

WORX GT 18v cordless trimmer
I am disabled and having difficulty trying to keep up with the yard. When I saw how much the product weighs, I bought it. The company has a known battery issue or they would have requested the battery back. Three batteries, two of which I bought work for thirty seconds after charging. They do not honor the two year warranty. Warning Do not by this product! Product does not work for long, customer service is non-existent and they do not stand by the product. They continually transfer you, leaving messages and email not much better and then basically tell you tough luck you missed the 90 DAYS to return your product. Rate Very Bad Product, Very Bad Customer Service, Very Bad Warranty! Do not buy, wasting your money.

Tech Support Nice But Rather Have A Working Product
DON’T BUY THIS!!! I have had nothing but problems. The first battery discharged way too soon. They sent me a 2nd battery. It won’t trim 3 football fields as promised, it only ran for 15 minutes.
Then the charger started flashing (with both batteries). They sent a new charger. Got it and it was still flashing. They said there were known problems with the batteries and they should have sent a battery instead of a charger. Now, of course, the battery is not in stock for maybe 3 weeks!!!
It has already been 3 weeks since I could trim my yard. Suggestion: BUY A DIFFERENT TRIMMER!!!
MD RESPONDS: We have forwarded your comments to the folks at Worx, who offer their apologies again for your inconvenience and will continue to work with you until the problem is resolved.

Don't waste money
I bought this approximately 1year ago. I used it about 8 times last season. It worked great at the beginning of this season, then the battery stopped holding a charge.
I contacted Worx numerous times through e-mail, but I got no response from them. I finally got through to Worx customer service on the phone, and was told I would have to purchase a new battery.
I explained I had used it less than 20 times, and they said it didn't matter, the battery would only last 1 year.
Buyer beware- if you purchase this unit you will have to drop 50 dollars every year for new battery... incidentally the warranty on the battery is 1 year.

Short Run Time
This did a good job, but I only got approximately 20 minutes of run time- not the 3 football fields shown in the advertisement.
I have a very small yard & had to recharge it- which takes a long time !
I am going to try it one more time; if it does not do any better I will see how good the warranty works and let you know!

A step up from my Weedeater cordless
This is a very impressive trimmer, it is a step up from my cordless Weedeater 6* trimmer.
I am very pleased with its handling and the wheel makes edging work much easier. It is a must for someone with back problems with a limit on handling the weight.
This unit is lightweight and easy to use. For those with larger yards, a second battery is recommended. Mine took some time as I had not trimmed the yard since last year. Since this big job is done, I should be able to keep it trimmed on one battery charge for my small lot.
The battery lasted about 30 minutes and battery charge took me about 50 minutes for the Lithium-Ion- which is why a second battery is recommended for someone who has a lot to trim.

I saw this infomercial and bought the Worx String Trimmer kit.
In summary: It did an AWFUL job on my small, overgrown back yard.

This is the worst trimmer I have ever bought. Do not waste your money. It has no power to cut, the battery will die within about 6 months and you really go through spools quickly.

Battery life of Worx 18 volt lithium battery
I bought my Worx 2-in-1 cordless trimmer in 2009 and found the battery life was not as advertised. I purchased an additional battery the next year and found that battery to be defective and had to have it replaced. I now have 2 batteries and again one them will no longer hold a charge so I am back to trimming part of my yard and waiting another hour to hopefully finish the job! As I have a large yard, the inconvenience is very distressing.
When I contacted Worx last year about the defective battery, I was told that 10 minutes was normal for the charge to last when trimming. I informed them that on the good battery I could go 20 minutes. After much discussion, a new battery was sent at no charge. I am so disappointed in the trimmer that I am not going to be contacting Worx again about batteries!

Bad Batteries
Purchased this product with 2 batteries last year at the end of the season. It really cut great and was easy to use. Kept the batteries and charger inside over the winter. Neither battery will hold a charge. When I was able to get through to customer service I was told the batteries were bad and would have to buy new ones. After reading all the reviews I don't think so! Worx has to know about the problem and should stand behind their products.

Can't finish my lawn
I saw this on TV, thought it was a good idea. I ordered one and charged it overnight. The next day I was using it but only got half my lawn done. So I charged it overnight again, and the next day I was just about to finish and the battery was dead again. I have a small yard, two football fields, no way, not with the 18 volt. I'll never refer anyone to buy Worx products. They need to send everyone who bought this trimmer two more batteries and another charger just so people can finish what they started.

Don't buy this-bad battery!!!!
I called Worx. I tried about every extension, even one for buying something. I was put on hold and a prerecorded message kept going over and over about how good their product is, for an hour. Original battery was bad so we had them replace it. The battery doesn't seem to take charge or keep it charged. They don't want to talk to us. Then realizing the shortness of the battery I bought another battery, so now they both are dead.

Battery don't last
The battery never held a charge anywhere close to the infomercial. Took 2-3 charges to do a small yard. Worse than that was the customer service. There isn't any. E-mailed them 3 times and got 1 response saying they were too busy to answer the e-mail. Called and was put on hold by a computer. No one ever answered and was given an option to have them call me back. Never happened.
Don't waste your money! Also the strings will run you broke re-ordering every three weeks.

A Son endorses a lawn tool.
"A must have - Power and versatility- two thumbs up." The son endorses.
I purchased the WG150 from a dealer - shopped at all the big name stores - but nothing close to the design of the WG150.1 cordless trimmer.
We have an acre plus - was worried about the battery - so far - no issues. My son is providing grass cutting services.
He is adding all the weed wacking and trimming services at no costs-he loves the look the WG151.5 provides. Weed wacking - trimming - edging - light weight - great results.
