Ya Get What Ya Pay For
It's not the Corvette of lawn mowers but good quality for the price. So quit crying like a bunch of little girls.

Do Not Buy This Mower!
After 8 hrs. of use - spindles broke (2 weeks. in shop). After 15hrs. of use - engine blew (had to replace it and it took 2 months in shop).
After 20 hrs. of use - flywheel key broke(2 weeks in shop). Had to replace battery also. This mower was in the shop more than at my house! Luckily I bought it at Lowes and their customer service was awesome. All of this was warranty work and they have now replaced my mower with a new one. Lowes dealt with Troy-Bilt for me and was successful because they... more

Belts Fell Off
Delivered from Lowes (who have been terrific) about 60 miles away- set-up easy, start easy, mowed lawn twice about 3 hours slight incline about a 10' drop in 500'- blade drive belts fell off- rather than take it apart myself on a new mower had Lowes come and pick it up- no warranty as there was EXCESSIVE WEAR on belts- are you kidding - 125.00 to fix-pissed off
Pros: Price
Cons: Durability, Unreliable

Mower Is A Sad
March of 2013 got my 8 year old craftsman mower out, it was needing quite a bit of work. Went to Lowe's got a new Troy-Bilt Horse riding lawn mower. I mowed my yard twice with it. Then while I was mowing the mower just stopped and would not crank. Took it to Lowe's they put it on a truck to take it some place to fix it. Four weeks later am going to get it back. Hope it runs. Fixed my old Craftsman so I could mow the yard. Cost me $55.00. Paid 1500.00 for Troy-Bilt. Now I am going to have to pay... more

Engine Problems Already
I have a Troy-Bilt Horse Hydrostatic 46 inch 2012 mower, bought at Lowes. 2 weeks ago as I was driving it, it started to sputter (fast then slow, fast then slow). I know itís time to service it, so I figured I'd do that and my problem would be fixed. I drained all the fuel, oil, changed fuel filter, oil filter and changed spark plug and made sure the plug was 0.02-0.03 width, and changed both the filters the air and the big sponge like one. Made sure there was no junk in the fuel tank. I... more

Troy-bilt-with-cheap_material
First mow with my TB XP, I hit a 4 inch ant hill... result: Bent black and Pulley sheared off. Of Course Troy-Bilt will not cover under warranty. I can understand the blade, but a pulley SHOULD NOT SHEAR SO EASY. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM TROY-BILT. THEY USE CHEAP METAL AND STIFF YOU ON THE WARRANTY!
Pros: Easy To Use
Cons: Low Quality, Unreliable, Durability
