Q: What is the difference between the 79334 and the 79324 baggers? If I have the 42" mower, would I be better off with the 79334, since it's designed exclusively for the 42" deck? by Mike Niemeyer from Texas on July 02, 2011
A: Mike - the Toro 79334 bagger is designed to fit the 2011 Toro Timecutter SS series zero turn mowers only. The Toro 79324 bagger only fits 2007 - 2010 Toro TimeCutter Z series zero turns. If you have a 42" mower deck, you need to determine the model of your Toro TimeCutter in order to determine which bagger you need. If you TimeCutter is a 2011 model, you need 79334. If your TimeCutter is a 2007 -2010 model, you need 79324. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: How does this product work with long wet grass? We have this much of the mowing season in the Pacific Northwest. by Keith from Washington on June 12, 2011
A: Keith - this is a non-powered bagger, and no non-powered bagger is going to be effective when used in long, wet grass. You are going to experience a lot of clumping in the bagging tube and in the bagger itself, and probably some clogging of the tube where it connects to the mower deck. A powered bagger (with a turbo) would work better in your type of mowing conditions, but Toro does not offer a powered bagger system for the TimeCutter zero turns. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: if you want to have Bagger attachment 79334 do you have to take off the mulching kit if fitted to my Toro Timecutter SS4235. Do I also need different blades than the mulching blades that are fitted by Michael Harrison from Florida on June 10, 2011
A: Michael - if you have a mulch kit installed on your mower deck, then you will not be able to use the bagger. The mulch kit includes a baffle that covers the side discharge chute on your mower deck. In order to use the bagger, this discharge must be "open", as the grass tube on the bagger hooks to the discharge chute opening. So the baffle from the mulch kit would have to be removed. You will be able to bag using the mulch blades, but these blades will not provide the same air flow as the hi-lift blades that are designed to be used with the bagger, so you won't experience maximum performance with the bagger if using the mulching blades. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: Are the mower blades that come on the Toro Timecutter adequate for picking up trimmings? by Ralph from Georgia on May 24, 2011
A: Ralph - the mower blades that come standard on a Toro TimeCutter are a hi-lift style blade. These are best suited for either bagging your grass clippings or for side discharge. by Todd, Product Expert
