  7 Questions
Q: I have a toro mower model 74633, will this ss4200 bagger fit my mower?
by Lynda Hopkins from Washington on August 27, 2013

A: Yes, the SS4200 refers to the series which your mower would fall under being a SS4235. Toro is only going to have one bagger for the SS4200 series models and this would cover the SS4200, SS4235 and the SS4260.
by Jose, Product Expert
Q: What is the difference between the 79334 and the 79324 baggers? If I have the 42" mower, would I be better off with the 79334, since it's designed exclusively for the 42" deck?
by Mike Niemeyer from Texas on July 02, 2011

A: Mike - the Toro 79334 bagger is designed to fit the 2011 Toro Timecutter SS series zero turn mowers only. The Toro 79324 bagger only fits 2007 - 2010 Toro TimeCutter Z series zero turns. If you have a 42" mower deck, you need to determine the model of your Toro TimeCutter in order to determine which bagger you need. If you TimeCutter is a 2011 model, you need 79334. If your TimeCutter is a 2007 -2010 model, you need 79324.

Q: How does this product work with long wet grass? We have this much of the mowing season in the Pacific Northwest.
by Keith from Washington on June 12, 2011

A: Keith - this is a non-powered bagger, and no non-powered bagger is going to be effective when used in long, wet grass. You are going to experience a lot of clumping in the bagging tube and in the bagger itself, and probably some clogging of the tube where it connects to the mower deck. A powered bagger (with a turbo) would work better in your type of mowing conditions, but Toro does not offer a powered bagger system for the TimeCutter zero turns.
by Jose, Product Expert
Q: if you want to have Bagger attachment 79334 do you have to take off the mulching kit if fitted to my Toro Timecutter SS4235. Do I also need different blades than the mulching blades that are fitted
by Michael Harrison from Florida on June 10, 2011

A: Michael - if you have a mulch kit installed on your mower deck, then you will not be able to use the bagger. The mulch kit includes a baffle that covers the side discharge chute on your mower deck. In order to use the bagger, this discharge must be "open", as the grass tube on the bagger hooks to the discharge chute opening. So the baffle from the mulch kit would have to be removed. You will be able to bag using the mulch blades, but these blades will not provide the same air flow as the hi-lift blades that are designed to be used with the bagger, so you won't experience maximum performance with the bagger if using the mulching blades.
by Jose, Product Expert
Q: Are the mower blades that come on the Toro Timecutter adequate for picking up trimmings?
by Ralph from Georgia on May 24, 2011

A: Ralph - the mower blades that come standard on a Toro TimeCutter are a hi-lift style blade. These are best suited for either bagging your grass clippings or for side discharge.
by Jose, Product Expert
Q: Does this mower have a grass catcher?
by Dan Tushar from Washington on April 03, 2011

A: Thanks for your inquiry. The bagger that is compatible for this model is number 79334.
by Jose, Product Expert
Q: Does everything I need for use come with theToro Timecutter (42") SS4200 Series Zero Turn Twin Bagger?
by Ed Perkowski from Delaware on April 02, 2011

A: Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, everything you need comes with this bagger.

Great Accessory For Grass Cuttings And Leaves
We have a half acre that has several old pin oaks reaching to the sky, and every fall the yard is bombarded with leaves. If we did not pick up the droppings every few weeks, I am certain that the leaves on the ground would be more than a foot thick.

I used the twin-bagging system on the last go-around and picked up over 32 large bags filled to the brim. The old method: raking and picking up manually would have take three times longer.

I am extremely glad I purchased this; and I am... more

Rear Bagging System
The shipping and receiving of my Toro bagging system was very timely. It was delivered within the time stated and the shipping company placed the container exactly where I instructed so as not to block the driveway or the street.

It took several hours to assemble the bagging system on my Toro ZTR. The assembly instructions were a challenge in several steps, but pictures helped greatly in the process. I completed the assembly process in 3 hours and used the bagging system to pick up leaves.... more

Simply An Awesome Mower...
It was hard to imagine buying a machine of this size (and expense) over the Internet. But I took the plunge and Mowers Direct executed flawlessly. The mower arrived in just 2 days, the delivery company called in advance to arrange a time as promised and delivered when they said they would...excellent!

The mower itself took maybe an hour to get off the pallet, I attached the bagger and a few odds and ends. I added some gas and voila - it started on the first turn of the engine. The... more

Does The Job
I purchased this bagger for the fall leaf collection. The bagger was easy to install and does a great job on the leaves. You must cut damp grass before using the bagger or the shoot will clog. Raise the deck one level and you can zip through the clean up process.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast, Reliable, Easy To Store
Cons: Expensive
