Q: What is the difference between the 79334 and the 79324 baggers? If I have the 42" mower, would I be better off with the 79334, since it's designed exclusively for the 42" deck? by Mike Niemeyer from Texas on July 02, 2011
A: Mike - the Toro 79334 bagger is designed to fit the 2011 Toro Timecutter SS series zero turn mowers only. The Toro 79324 bagger only fits 2007 - 2010 Toro TimeCutter Z series zero turns. If you have a 42" mower deck, you need to determine the model of your Toro TimeCutter in order to determine which bagger you need. If you TimeCutter is a 2011 model, you need 79334. If your TimeCutter is a 2007 -2010 model, you need 79324. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: Will this bagger work on th SS4235 model? Will the mover cover go over the bagger also? by Donna from Colorado on June 24, 2011
A: Donna - the Toro #79324 bagger will NOT fit on the new Toro SS series TimeCutters. The Toro SS4200, SS4235 and SS4260 Timecutters all use the Toro #79334 bagger. Toro 79334 by Todd, Product Expert
Q: How does this product work with long wet grass? We have this much of the mowing season in the Pacific Northwest. by Keith from Washington on June 12, 2011
A: Keith - this is a non-powered bagger, and no non-powered bagger is going to be effective when used in long, wet grass. You are going to experience a lot of clumping in the bagging tube and in the bagger itself, and probably some clogging of the tube where it connects to the mower deck. A powered bagger (with a turbo) would work better in your type of mowing conditions, but Toro does not offer a powered bagger system for the TimeCutter zero turns. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: cannot find any mention of the HP of each of the two width models. by Ted from Maine on May 28, 2011
A: Ted - the Toro #79324 is a bagging system only. It would not have a HP rating since it doesn't have an engine. I think you are confused - this bagger does not come with the mower. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: How much length does the grass catcher add to the Toro TimeCutter SS4235? by Randolph B HOBBS from Michigan on May 12, 2011
A: Randolph - the bagging unit will add approximately 26" to the overall length of Toro SS4235. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: how much is a grass catcher for a Toro Z series TimeCutter zero turn mowers
by Fred Ohms from Kentucky on April 30, 2011
A: Hi Fred - you didn't give me your model number, but we carry a Toro 79324 bagger that fits all Toro Z series TimeCutter zero turn mowers manufactured between 2007 and 2010. It sells for $549.99, and that price would include delivery to your home and no sale tax. If your Toro Z series TimeCutter is older than a 2007 model, I would need your model number to determine which bagger you would need. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: Would you have a grass catcher for a toro 48" Z Master commercial? by Michael Slade from Mississippi on March 27, 2011
A: Thanks for your inquiry. We do not have any Toro commercial bagging systems. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: Will the Toro Bagger (Model 79324) work on my 2006 Toro TimeCutter Z420? If not, which model will? by Dale from California on March 20, 2011
A: Thanks for your inquiry. Please read the compatibility info below: Fits Toro TimeCutter Z series zero turn mowers (2007 to 2010) Works on both 42-inch and 50-inch mower deck models Does NOT fit 2011 Toro TimeCutter SS series mowers DOES NOT fit Toro Titan zero turn mowers Will NOT fit zero turn models with a circular (round) hitch This bagger will not fit your mower. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: I purchased a Toro Z4200 in April of '07. I am looking for a bagger and mulching kit for it can you please direct me to the correct items. It has the Kohler engine. by Kerry Malone from Tennessee on March 17, 2011
A: Thanks for your inquiry. As long as your mower is a Timecutter this bagger will fit your mower. The mulch kit you need is a model 79311. by Todd, Product Expert

A Real Timecutter
The 12 year old engine on my 40 year old Snapper riding mower finally bit the dust. It was a good mower and provided long service, but I had my eye on zero turn mowers for some time, and decided if I didn't make the investment now, I would never get one. I had considered buying a lawn tractor, which would have been about $1,000.00 less, but the tractors are much slower and less maneuverable than the zero turn mowers are. I also made the investment in the twin bagger.
I have had my Toro Timecutter 4235 for almost two months now. I have to say that the extra $1,000.00 was well worth the investment, because it truly is a time cutter. It used to take me 2 hours to mow my 12 acre yard, now it takes me 30 minutes.
The cut is definitely cleaner, and I can even do diagonal cuts that I never could do with the Snapper. Time is money, and this mower definitely saves time.
I have 10 trees in the mowing area, and used to have to use a weed wacker, and a push mower to cover some of the technical areas. The Toro is extremely maneuverable, and I am amazed at how close I can get to the edges of the tree beds.
The weed wacker is barely used now, just about 5 minutes worth of touch up. The push mower may end up on Ebay because I haven't used it since I bought the Timecutter.
This weekend I used the Timecutter to clear the leaves in my yard. What used to take 4 to 5 hours, took 50 minutes, and the chute on the bagger never clogged once. What used to be drudgery is actually fun now -- don't tell my wife I said that...
Deck maintenance is a breeze, I remove one clevis pin, and the deck lifts right off. It seems to be a well designed machine, and so far has been a joy to own.
Mowers Direct was great, I ordered, they shipped, the trucker called 3 days later, and everything about the transaction was just the way it should have been.

Outstanding bagger
Bagger picks up very clean. Only problem is the bagger holds too little. Outside of that, it is a very good leaf pickup.

Toro bagger
Only had the bagger for two weeks now and have only used it one time. About 20 - 30 minute easy assembly time, not complicated. Was initially concerned about the size of the bags, I thought they would be to small, however, I am able to cut an acre and only empty 3 times and may have been able to push it to two times. The grass was wet and long, I had no clogs and it picked up nice. I had no intention of bagging my grass every time, purchased for leaves only, although I may keep it on for good. I tried removing just the bags and allowing the grass to fall to the ground but that leaves clumps.

No more dead grass lying around!
These twin baggers should be a requirement for the Toro TimeCutter Zero Turn mowers! My lawn (more than an acre) has never looked better. It is a bit of a chore emptying the full bags over my 5-ft. high chainlink fence, but I solved that by purchasing a cart, where I now dump the clippings and wheel the cart into the woods to dump them instead of having to lift the fairly heavy full bags of cut grass over the fence.
Another great result is that I don't have to rake leaves any longer! The mower picks them up, cuts them and deposits them in the rear baggers.
I highly recommend these rear baggers if you have this great mower.

First I must say that writing a review is a very cumbersome event.
So I bought my mower a 42" Time cutter model #74360 at a local big box store. It was a close out and whom ever put it together overtightened a screw and cracked the plastic so it was discounted even more.
Got it home and I had some issues getting it to run. That little lever in the back has to be in the middle. No big deal. Ran it for a couple weeks and I love it. I have roughly 12 acre of grass and I can do it after work and still sit down for dinner before dark.
I can get very close to the fence and trees thus making weed eating even less of a chore. I found the lack of a bag a big deal so I ordered one and the process was easy as can be.
Got the bagger part #79324, the hitch #79318, cover 490-7516, mat 79315, and HOC 79313.
So lets start with the bagger. Absolutely love the ease it goes on. It picks up everything. Only complaints I have is 1) there is no gauge window so I don't know how full it is. 2) The fact that the 42" and 50" mowers use all the same parts but the first piece and the kit comes with both. Seems like a lot of waste.
The hitch I have yet to use and I do not think I will as you cannot use it with the bagger on. Taking the bagger on and off each time I want to tow a trailer is not for me. I guess I will have to make my own.
Cover is on my mower but it only covers a chunk of it as it is not made to go over the bagger. I think its better than nothing. It does cover the motor, seat and all that which is important. It is of heavy material and I suspect it will last a very long time.
The mat I absolutely love. I live in Oregon and it is wet. The mat makes getting on and off the mower a lot safer. Also makes cleaning the unit a whole lot easier.
The HOC, is a foot control that raises and lowers the deck. My yard has trees in it and as such branches. Also with kids, who knows what's in the yard.
The HOC makes it a breeze to raise the deck and keep your hands on the controls. What I like best is the HOC just picks the deck up to full height but doesn't mess with the height when you let go. So if you have it set on 2 and you use the foot control it raises the deck and as soon as you release it, it goes back to 2. Very nice feature.
Only thing I wish Toro made was an affordable hour meter. I know they make one but for the cost I can buy 4 aftermarket ones.
Also would love a light kit. I am now getting home around 5-6pm and its getting dark. Definetly be a great thing to have.
