Q: I have an entry level John Deere rider (17HP) that the transmission has given out after 8 yrs. I do have some slopes and hills in my yard (1.25 acres). I want to get into the ZTR arena. Change your mower to Toro
I bought the Toro for my husband. His other lawnmower was noisy and took him 4 hours or more to cut the grass. His new mower he loves, it's quiet now his gets the grass done in 2 hours. My great grandson loves it even more. He has his seat between his Pa-Pa. It's so much quieter he can fall asleep. My husband said that when he first started cutting the grass, he had to look back to see if it was cutting it, he said there is a big difference from his old mower. It was a different brand and really noisy.

Great equipment and performance!
This is the best lawn tractor I've ever owned! I received the Toro SS 5060 two months ago. I love the duel speed range for varied cutting. This is a great mower to service. I recently took off the deck, changed the blades for sharpening, took off and inspected the drive belt, and replaced the deck in 15 minutes.
The air cleaner is easily removed and tapped for cleaning in dusty conditions. It does a great job cutting grass and is easy to use. I can cut the lawn in half the time and I'm not fatigued. What a great lawn mower!
