Q: howdy Todd; I have a Toro model # 51599 and have misplaced the vacuum bag. Can I purchase just the bag?

A: Peter - yes, the vacuum bag for the Toro 51599 is sold as a replacement part. We do not carry this item, but the part number is 108-8994 and it should run you about $25. You can probably find one on line, or your local Toro dealer should be able to get one for you. by Todd, Product Expert

Todd's Recommendation
The Toro 51599 Ultra electric leaf blower is powerful and effective, and can actually make your work a lot easier to finish up quickly.
The Toro 51599 features a variable speed 12 amp electric motor, and will produce air speeds up to 235 mph. This means you can use low speeds to clear off hard surfaces and clean up tight areas without making a mess and without sacrificing the blower's high-speed functionality.
The Toro 51599 is also a leaf vacuum, and will convert from blower to vacuum without tools in no time at all. The metal impeller shreds leaves into a mulch, and you can reduce up to 16 bags of waste to one bag.
The Toro 51599 starts up instantly without requiring you to master a finicky pull cord. There's no messy gas-oil mixture to worry about, and you don't have to contend with smelly gas fumes to get a job done. This high-powered blower also weighs in at a very manageable 7.5 pounds, making it easy on your back.

Simply the best
I have seen and used most blowers on the market, all around my neighborhood.
The Toro Ultra is by far the best out there. Sure, you have to drag an electric cord around, but that's not a problem considering the excellent job the blower does.
You don't have to mix gas either, or use carburetor cleaner to get the gum out from the "new style" gasoline.
Cut your odds and get the Toro Ultra.

Great Blower, Cord Not So Much
I purchased this blower approx. 7 - 8 months ago. I have used it several times, but every time I need to use it I cringe.
I love the blowing power, but the cord I can do without on this model. It doesn't have a cord keeper so the cord is always (ALWAYS!) coming unplugged at the machine.
I try to hold the cord in the same hand I use to hold the blower, but I seem to always let it get away from me, then BAM! the cord comes unplugged. They need to mount a cord keeper on the blower for me to give this a 5 star rating.

Very Impressed
Bought the Toro 51599 over the Sears model for the serrated metal impeller and the cast magnesium impeller is more durable than the plastic one on my old Sears model.
I use the Toro Ultra Blower Vac almost exclusively as a vac to dump leaves in my compost pile & am very satisfied with the size of the chopped leaves.
Only complaint, after just a half season of use the vac bag zipper broke & the stitching for the zipper fell apart - very cheap quality.
