| What's Blade Override? |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder from (Bolingbrook, IL) |
Think about your old lawnmower. Every time you let go of the handle the engine shut off.
Move a ball. Shut off the engine.
Pick a weed. Shut of the engine.
Release the handle of any reason and the engine shuts off for safety.
But... if the blade isn't spinning, there aren't any hazards.
Basically, Toro's blade override system allows the engine to keep running but stops the blade from spinning.
Yes, it's convenient.
The better benefit, however, is reduced wear on the engine, which doesn't like to start and stop every three minutes.
With blade override, you'll cut your grass faster, and extend the life of your engine. |
