Q: I have a pond with steep banks and a flat trail around it. I would like to ride safely on the flat trail and use the pull behind at a sharp side angle to the waters edge six feet down and to the side. Is the draw bar long enough and can the engine work at a sharp angle?
by Jon Swanson from Illinois on October 29, 2011
A: Jon - it is not recommended that you run any of the Swisher tow-behind mowers on a bank or slope that is greater than 15 degrees of slope. All of these mowers have a "splash" type lubrication system, and running them on slopes more severe than 15 degrees may cause the oil to not fully lubricate all the engines parts. by Todd, Product Expert

Q: todd i am wondering if i put this on my lawn mower can i move the swisher to either side to make two swipes at one time or no
by Donald Augustine Jr from New York on July 22, 2011
A: Donald - the Swisher T2066 trail mower does have an offset adjustment feature that allows you to pull the mower offset to one side or the other from the tractor or ATV that you use to tow the mower. However, you would not be able to offset the mower far enough to one side or the other so that the full cutting width of this mower would be outside of the cutting path of the mower deck on your riding mower. In other words, there would be some overlap between your riding mower and the Swisher. by Todd, Product Expert

Q: what is the range of height of cut the 66 inch swisher t-2066
by Grafton Pauls from Oregon on June 12, 2011
A: Grafton - the Swisher T-2066 has a height of cut range from approx. 1-1/2" to 5". This is measured from the ground to the mower blade tip when the engine is not running. This mower will handle grass up to about 6" deep. by Todd, Product Expert

Q: My field is about tow foot high with grass but there are no trees at all. Would the trail mower cut the grass for the first time or would i have to buy the trail cutter? I would then keep it cut low.
by Tila Barrett from Arkansas on May 25, 2011
A: Thanks for your inquiry. You would use the trail mower to cut the grass for the firts time. Then use a mower to maintain. by Todd, Product Expert
