I ordered this mower on a Thursday and received it the following Monday. I have no complaints with Mowers Direct. As far as the Snapper mower, I'm not real impressed. I had a Honda mower which I purchased ten years ago. The self propellant went out this year and it's currently in the shop being repaired. I loved that Honda Mower. Honda mowers are very "female friendly." I'm a single woman who owns her own home so therefore, mowing the lawn is my responsibility. I want a mower that's easy to use.
The Snapper that I ordered is not very "female friendly". If you occasionally mow with a bagger, this is definitely NOT the mower to buy. It isn't as simple as putting a mulching plug on the mower like most lawn mowers. You have to connect the "hose" and the bag. I sometimes use a bagger but with this mower, I'll never use the bagger. When I get my Honda mower back from the repair shop, I'll use it if I want to bag the clippings.
This mower also seems a lot heavier and harder to turn than my Honda mower. Adjusting the height of the mower is no picnic either.
The one positive thing I can say about the Snapper is that it starts on the first pull. But then again, so did my Honda. If you're a single woman, steer clear of any Snapper mower. Pay the extra money and get yourself a Honda mower. You won't regret it!
