Snapper (22") 190cc High-Wheel Self-Propelled Lawn Mower

I never had to push this mower once. The variable speed handle/trigger was easy to use and non-stressful on my forearms for an hour of cutting. This mower starts on the first pull every time, with far less pull force than any push mower on the market right now. Its quiet...for a Briggs engine..but reliable. The height adjustment on mine has now been integrated into one lever at the back of the machine, which never comes out of position. I highly recommend this to everyone with a 1/2 acre or less. Easy to store handle has quick action releases at the deck to allow you to store the handle straight up when not in use and give you 3 feet more of storage space

I used this lawn mower for the 2009 summer mowing season. It works very well when bagging the clippings. It doesn't distribute the clippings very well when mulching or using the side chute.

The front wheel adjusters are very flimsy and only stay in place with a bungee cord hooked between them. I had to apply tape to some areas on the bagger assembly to prevent grass clippings from flying out.

The variable speed control is very functional. The B&S engine starts easily. Given the poor performance without the bag and the flimsy wheel adjusters, I wouldn't buy this lawnmower again... It just isn't "your Father's Snapper!"
