Q: I have a Sears Craftsman 28034 28" Rear Engine Rider Tractor, Model number 7600100. Will this Mulch Kit from Snapper fit my Craftsman Tractor? by James C. Griffin from Maryland on May 13, 2011
A: This would be something you would have to check with Snapper on. In most cases, we have heard these are almost the exact same machines and the parts fit on universally, but you should verify with Snapper to be sure since we don't handle Craftsman.

Just like Dad's!
Although my yard is small, my back can no longer endure the strain of pushing a lawnmower. I opted for the Snapper rear engine rider because of familiarity and proven reliability. My dad purchased one when I was about 8 years old. He's had his snapper RER for over 20 years. We cut multiple yards a week throughout the year and the snapper was our primary rider. It cut every yard, regardless of size and grass height. Dad had the grass collection system and today, I have the mulch kit on mine.
I'm glad I made the purchase and can now mow, trim, edge the walkway, and clear the driveway of debris in less than an hour. This mower is exactly as I had remembered it to be--great cutting and dependable. The mulch kit performs exactly as advertised and the snapper RER has never disappointed me. I'm totally Savvy!!!!!

It fits
Bought a Craftsman 28" Rear Engine model from a big box store. The mower works fine, but could not buy the mulching kit, not available, I was told. A little research revealed that the Craftsman 28" and the Snapper 28" are identical. So I ordered the Ninja mulching kit from Mowers Direct, installed and it works great. Delivery was very fast, I am very pleased with Mowers Direct service.

Excellent Investment
The 7600100 Snapper "Ninja" 28" Mulch Kit is awesome---slices grass clippings like crazy. Quick delivery from Mowers Direct allowed me to install it on the day of delivery of my mower. My supplier did not have this blade available at the time of purchase. Great service from Mowers Direct!!!

Yesterday was my third cut with the Snapper 2812524BVE I now wish I hadn't purchased it. Not that it's not a good mower it is not good with my landscape. I now must still spend good time with my walk-behind mower or lots of weed whacker time. Now looking at making 34 inch radius mulch beds and removing a ten foot lawn behind my back yard fence, that is not easy to mow and stay on my property with the Snapper.
Speeds are good and using the NINJA mulch blade does a real good job of cutting the grass small making real nice mulch. The clutch is not real tender or smooth with engine set on high speed and reverse almost requires holding the gear shifter back into the reverse setting.
Shipping and packaging was very good.

Craftsman Mulch Kit
I bought a small 28", 12.5 HP riding mower at Sears recently, and after one season of mowing, I decided that I would like a mulching kit for it. After checking with the Sears store, I found out that I could get the kit for $99 plus tax, but it would have to be shipped directly to me for $61.
I thought the price of the kit was o.k., but the shipping was too much. I Googled Sears mulching kit, and Mowers Direct was one of the companies that showed up. I checked availability, price, and shipping, and it was the best of any of the companies that I checked up on.
I saved over $70 compared to the Sears price, and your service was excellent. I received my mulching kit within a week, and it is exactly the same as the Sears kit. If I ever need anything for my lawn again, I now know where to go get it.

Snapper NINJA 28 in mulcher kit
Pretty simply and straightforward. Simple installation and works just fine. Pricey for what it is - about $10.00 worth of metal and bolts on a good day, but what choice is there?

Snapper Rider Mower 12.5 hp
Received my rider crated like Fort Knox in perfect condition! Put the mower together, got the battery fluid in and charged, put in the key and it started right off. Mowed with it today for the first time and it worked like a charm. I couldn't ask for it to be any better, saves me so much time and doesn't drain me of my strength.
