Q: how does the mower operate on steep grades?

A: Bill - this mower has a "full pressure lubrication system", so it will operate on inclines and slopes, but it is not recommended to use this mower on inclines of more than 22 degree's for optimum performance. You will most likely experience some traction problems if your grades are steeper than this, particularly when the grass is wet.

Q: What do I need to do to get the mower operational from the time of delivery?

A: All you should have to do is attach the seat on the mower and put the steering bars in their upright position. There really is not anything else that should need to be done.

Q: Does the Snapper ZB2654 (355Z) have a hose connection on the mower deck for clean out purposes?

A: This unit would not offer this option, this is going to have a more commerical deck, which don't typically offer an option like this.

I have never used a zero turn mower before I purchased this unit.

In my opinion there is no comparison between this mower and a standard yard tractor. None at all.

The 54" deck allows me to mow several acres in a short period of time and the zero turn controls allow me to navigate around trees and other obstacles with ease.

So far I am very satisfied with the quality, performance, ease of operation, ease of maintenance and price of the snapper mower I purchased. A lot of thought was put into the design of this mower.
