Snapper NXT2346 (46") 23HP NXT Lawn Tractor (2012 Model)

I do a lot of research before I buy something and I ended up going with the Snapper NXT when I decided to get my first riding mower, I'm so glad I don't have to push mow 1.5 acres anymore. So far I've had the mower a couple weeks and it cuts excellent and all the gadgets are still working like a champ. The dealer had left it outside so I figured if the rain hasn't hurt the digital stuff by now it won't because I'm going to be storing it inside.

I was looking at this mower and the Husqvarna 2448 Fast Tractor and the reason I paid more and got this one were: Good brand reputation, It didn't look like it came off the same assembly line as cheap mowers, has the pro series engine, it weighs 100lbs more than the Husqvarna, it has all the gadgets you can get on a mower, and the promotion that was running gave me an extra year warranty and a $200 instant rebate. The extra year warranty was the big selling point so I don't have to worry about the electrical stuff.

The only problem that I had was starting it initially, you have to have the parking brake locked and have it at full throttle for it to start. Once the mower is engaged you turn the yellow key and it will mow in reverse until it is disengaged and then you repeat the process. So far I'm a happy mower and now have the time and energy to accomplish other things on my days off.
