The Snapper SPX2246 lawn tractor is part of the NEW Snapper SPX series of tractors. Designed with the mid-size property owner in mind, this tractor represents the ideal blend of performance and affordability for someone with one to two acres of yard to care for.

The Snapper SPX2246 gets it’s power from a Briggs and Stratton Professional Series OHV twin-cylinder engine. Starting this tractor is incredibly easy with the 12-volt electric start feature. You can reach forward speeds up to 5-1/2 mph with the easy-to-use, pedal operated hydrostatic transmission.

The Snapper SPX2246 is built on a 2 wheel drive chassis. This chassis is made from 12 gauge steel which does not damage easily. The mower deck has a cutting width of 46 inches. The height of the mower deck is controlled by a fender mounted lever that gives you 7 cutting height positions between 1.5 and 4 inches above the ground.

The Snapper SPX2246 lawn tractor is also capable of towing non-ground engaging attachments like a cart, a lawn sweeper, an aerator or a dethatcher, which makes it a versatile option when it comes to yard care. You can even attach a plow blade to it for plowing snow.
