  1 Question
Q: Are the deck bearings on 52 in. Champion Simplicty zero turn mower sealed or do the spindles have grease fittings ?
by Tom Wiggins from Michigan on May 14, 2011

A: The bearings would not have grease fittings and would be sealed. You would have to jump up to the ZT4000 for this option, the Champion would be one level below the ZT4000.

Thanks,

Very High Maintenance, Low Quality Parts, Poor Design
I have a Champion series Simplicity zero turn mower, and I hate it. If you are considering buying one, even a used one, DON'T. Run away as fast as you can. Following are my complaints:

1. Belt is expensive, hard to replace, and only lasts 1 season or less.
2. Very hard to clean grass off mower deck due to way too much hardware (levers, rods, etc) always in the way.
3. Even new belts come off frequently.
4. Frequent clogging of output chute, due to unnecessary large steel bar... more

Best Mower Yet
I really looked around for a new mower. I have a Toro Z series TimeCutter but it was time to upgrade. I love this mower. Put it to use right out of the crate. After cutting my 2.5 acres it showed me I had pick the right mower. I would HIGHLY recommend Mower Direct as the place to but your new mower.

Belt Chewer!
25.1 hours, pow!! Deck belt snapped for no reason, cutting dry grass. Calling dealer in the AM. Also these suck on wet ground and get stuck to easy. Waiting to see if dealer will get me a free belt, this is BS!! $5,500 mower and already problems. They also had to put a hydro cooler on it because it was getting way too hot. I thought I was buying a NEW mower but all I see are discontinued?????
Pros: Easy To Use, Quiet, Fast
Cons: Durability
