Battery Is Dead
I bought the cordless mower at Menards late last summer. I kept it charged during the winter months as directed. This spring I went to start it and the battery is no good. I called the phone number on the mower and they said the battery had a one year warranty if I had the receipt. Cannot locate receipt but more importantly I am so disappointed that I only used the $500 mower less than 3 months and now I have to purchase another battery. I went to the Earthwise web site and it was pathetic.... more

Terrible Customer Service
I have had this mower for 2 years. I admit I did not handle the battery charging and winter care like I should have. As a result, after 2 years, I can only mow for about 10 minutes on a full charge. That is on me. I messed up. However, the problem really appeared when I tried to order a new battery. The battery was on a 6-week backorder from the factory (By the way, the manual says the mower is "Made in China".) At the end of the 6-weeks, I contacted the company to see when I would... more
Pros: Easy To Use, Easy, Easy Start
Cons: Durability, Low Quality, Expensive, Poor Manufacturer's Customer Service

Save Your Hard Earn Money
The battery does not hold a charge....The lawnmower cuts good if THERE IS a good battery. I had the lawn mower for two summers, and uses it only 3 months out of the year, and I still can not get good use out of this lawn mower because of inferior battery components.
THE LATEST CRISIS, I NOW SEE SMOKE COMING FROM THE LAWN MOWER. PEOPLE SAVE YOUR MONEY....BETTER TO GET GAS. TEACHABLE MOMENT: THE LAWNMOWER IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE BATTERY.

One Good Year
The first year went real well. I liked the mower. It's nice and quiet, the mower worked consistently for me week after week, the bagger worked well, it cut the grass well. It was great, for one year. I followed the instructions for winter battery storage and was extremely disappointed when I took the mower out for a 2nd season. Now the battery no longer holds a charge. It will mow for about 10 seconds before dying off. The Earthwise company told me the one year warranty is up and there is... more

I Guess Gas No So Expensive
I figured w/this product I could save on gas plus the pollution from gas engine. I guess that didn't pan out. Battery good for 1 summer. Went to use today, lasted 1/3 of my yard which is very small. So I guess if I buy a new battery every a year for $140.00, that's a lot of gas money and a lot of waste batteries helping the environment. Oh, yes I did keep battery charged...
Pros: Easy To Use, Quiet, 1st Yr Worked Good
Cons: Low Quality, Unreliable, Durability

Used 3 Summers Now
I'm surprised to see the low rated reviews here. I've had this mower for 3 summers now and it's been great. I have a 1/4 acre yard and I can mow 2-1/2 times before charging. Ease of emptying the bag is a big plus for me. I had a Homelite before this one and the opening was so narrow it was very difficult to empty. The Homelite was 24V and I could just barely cut my whole yard on a full charge. Also with the Homelite, I had to buy new batteries every year.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Price, Exceeded Expectations

My Lawn Mower
I received this lawn mower as a gift. I had been using a corded one, which I really liked. This cordless lawn mower is so heavy and hard for me to push. I don't like it and would not recommend it for a women. I would give it to any one who wants it! I will be ordering a corded one.

Dead Battery
I used it one year with no problem. It started up easily. I am a 63 year old woman with a bad shoulder and can not pull start a gas mower. This year the battery will not hold the charge. I was told to take the battery out of the mower and charge it with the shorter charger cable. I did this and the green light said it was charged so we put it back in the mower. The minuet it saw grass it died. I am very upset because I no longer have my receipt and I paid about $275.00 for one season of... more
