Q: Todd. I am trying to decide if this mower would work for my application. This website says this mower allows for uneven terrain and it also says for flat terrain. Can you clarify this for me. I have roughly 3 acres of somewhat hilly and uneven terrain. It is groomed and kept nice like a golf course. My biggest question would be. Do all of the mower sections float independently of each other or are they mounted on a common shaft?
Thanks in advance.

A: Tony - each of the 7 mower reels is mounted independently on the mower frame. So each reel will follow the contour of the turf, eliminating scalping or uneven cuts. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: I am looking at buying a place that has 1 acre of grass, with 15 - 20 trees, a house and barn. There are no gates to go through, and it is fairly flat. I really do not like cutting grass, so the faster the better. I saw you reel mowers and a 10' swipe sounds good. is that a good idea, or is there a better idea. The property is in the middle of farm land, so I am looking for a gulf corse type lawn, but one that is just cut if you know what I mean. by Kevin Klawon from Ohio on May 15, 2011
A: You can do a gang reel mower, but you may want to consider the placement of your trees throughout the property. When mowing straight pathes, these units are great, but if you are needing to manuever around anything, they can become difficult and more time consuming.
Another option would be to go with a zero turn mower. These you can mow at a higher speed and if you get a unit with a high blade tip speed, the cut would be terrific.
Thanks,

Lawn looks like a golf course
I love using the mower, it cuts down on my mowing time and cuts the lawn very nice . It does miss a few blades at times and I need to go back over it .
The lawn looks like it came off the golf course after it is cut, it's so even and smooth. I was impressed with the quality, especially the frame- it is heavy duty.
I look forward to years of use with the mower .

Step-down hitch
The quailty of the hitch is very good , thick heavy metal . The problem I have encountered it is too low when hooked up to the mower tongue.
The pin comes very close to the ground and even hits now and again . My ATV has 11 inches of ground clearance but the 6 inch drop seems too low.
