Mulch Kit (Fits 2009 and older 38" and 42" Toro/MTD Tractor Decks)

Picked up a used Troy Built lawn tractor (automatic Bronco 18 hp) 2 years old. I didn't really need it, but the price was right. I have not used it without the mulcher attachment.

I have a quantity of leaves, I usually try to mulch with a self propelled mower, kind of slow. I purchased this attachment to mulch leaves. Received the kit very quickly in great condition. After examining the kit, I wonder if this was a waste of money and time. Kit installed in minutes, all the holes lined up perfectly, very solid.

It works great, leaves are mulched very satisfactory. With a 42" deck, I'm done in no time, saves a lot of time blowing, raking, or using the push mover. It mulched the grass very well also. I would recommend. I can't see why a mulching kit is not included with a new lawn tractor. The deck plug can be removed quickly for regular use. The kit has parts for a 38" deck also, which are not needed, kind of a waste, still a good buy.
