Q: What does it mean 50:1 for gas?

A: Joanne - all 2-cycle gas engines require the operator to "mix" the gas and oil together before filling the gas tank on the engine. Think about oil and vinegar dressing on a salad. For an engine that is a 50:1 mix, you would use 50 parts gas to 1 part oil for the proper fuel mix to run the engine at it's optimal level. Exact mix proportions will be on the bottle of 2-cycle engine oil - that is, how much oil goes into one gallon or one quart of gasoline.

Q: I am buying my husband a gift and need to know is an edger what you use to go around outline the of our lawn or do I need to get him a trimmer? I'm thinking of a weed wacker so which one is that, edgers or trimmers?

A: Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, an edger is used to go around the border of your lawn. The product above is an edger. A "weed wacker" is not an edger. that product classifies as a string trimmer.

Q: Todd, I currently run Husqvarna trimmers and have had good success with them. I haven't seen Kawasaki trimmers anywhere. How do they rate? I have a lawn business so I need to know if this will hold up.
