Q: I previously asked about the true outside dimensions of a Husq 46" mower driving through a 48" path. It sounds like I'll have to downsize to a 42" What is the true width of a 42" Husq mower? by Bryan from Tennessee on June 12, 2011
A: Bryan - with the chute deflector cover is the "up" position, A Husqvarna 42" zero turn mower measures approx 45" wide at their widest point. With the chute deflector cover in the down position, the Husqvarna 42" zero turn mowers measure approx. 54" wide. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: I am in the market for a zero turn mower and the Husqvarna products seem to have the highest consumer ratings. I am interested in a zero turn for mowing in the summer but I also want to mount a snow blade for winter snow removal. Would the Model 966 do the job? Do you make a snow blade for the zero turns or will I need to get an after-market snow blade. Thanks! by Mark Martin from Michigan on June 11, 2011
A: Mark - Husqvarna does not offer either a snow plow blade nor a snow blower attachment for any of their zero turn mowers. And the snow plow blade and the snow blower attachment for the Husqvarna tractors will NOT fit on any of the Husqvarna zero turns. We also do not offer any after market snow plow blades for zero turn mowers at this time. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: What are the actual outside dimensions of a 46" Husq mower...will it drive between above ground planters spaced at 48"? by Bryan Nelson from Tennessee on June 10, 2011
A: Bryan - with the discharge chute cover in the "up" position, this mower measures approx. 47.5 inches wide. So it would be a TIGHT squeeze, and that assumes that the planters are all actually at least 48" apart. With the discharge chute cover in the "down" position, this mower measure about 55" wide. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: I was under the impression that the deck was very important too, in your rating of the toro versus the Husq. Do you think the 10 gauge steel on the toro compared to the 13 gauge steel on the husq is of any consequence, or is the engine the main thing you would look at? by Michael from Michigan on May 05, 2011
A: Thanks for your inquiry. The engine is the main focus because that is the part that has the potential to give you trouble. The better the engine the more worry free use you will get out of your mower. The deck is important as well, but either gage steel deck you listed above will last a long period of time. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: Does this come with hitch for a trailer? by John from Ohio on April 23, 2011
A: Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, this mower is equipped with a hitch. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: Todd, I have a one acre yard but may be upgrading to a 2+ in the next year or two. I've been tossing around two of your recommended mowers the Husq 46" for $2599 and the toro 50" for $2999. Two questions for you - Is the Husq 46" a comparable mower for only $400 less or am i just as well off to buy the Toro for the extra money? second question - if I have warranty needs to be fulfilled will the local guys honor Toro or Husq warranty to fix? I have a western Ohio just down the road in Minster Ohio. by Matt Lammers from Ohio on March 15, 2011
A: Thanks for your inquiry. The two mowers are very close, but you are better off with the Toro based on the fact that the Toro has a Kawasaki engine. The Kawasaki is one of the higher rated engines and will give you long lasting performance for your zero turn. Any local dealer will honor the warranty for your mower. by Todd, Product Expert

More than expected
Our new 46" mower is more than expected. We take care of about 9 large lawns and lots that can sometimes be challenging. This mower has surprised me in the fact that it won't slow down in the really tough weeds that are sometimes 14" hi. My 17 year-old son and I argue who "gets" to mow instead of who "has" to mow now. We are very pleased.......Thanks.........Don

Spring comes off blades
I received my mower 2 weeks ago and have not been able to cut my lawn with it. I tried the day after I received it and the spring came off, so the blades wouldn't engage. Called Husqvarna and they had me call a local dealer they picked it up and had it a week. They told me belt was defective and kept popping the spring. They ordered a new one from Husqvarna. Finally got it back yesterday in the pouring rain so I wasn't able to try it out. Went to use it today and the first pass with the blades down... (you guessed it) the spring popped off again. It is now Sunday local dealer is closed and again I can't cut my lawn.. NOT VERY HAPPY!!!

Thanks, I used the mower for the first time last Friday. It cut great and was easy to operate, also the shipping from your company was fast and it was packed well.

Zero turn mows beautifully
Mower works great. Really fast and does a beautiful job. When it arrived the spring had come undone and the blade would not engage ( I guess this happened in shipping the product). My brother was able to connect spring and I have had no problems.
