The Husqvarna HUS625HWT is designed to handle large areas of tall grass and thick weeds that would scare off ordinary lawn mowers or hand held string trimmers.

Powered by a hearty Briggs & Stratton engine, this string trimmer on wheels drives a powerful punch to areas of the lawn too large for a hand-held trimmer and too tight for a mower. With a cutting width of 22 inches, large trim jobs get done in less time.

I received my walk behind trimmer yesterday, took it out of the box put the oil in and filled with gas, pulled 1 time and i was on my way to a nice trimmed lawn. I have a 1/2 acre lot and trimmed everything without changing the string.

I wish I have bought this years ago. My legs were not beat up when I was done and the trimming was actually fun to do. Now I will trim every time I cut the grass. And with no sales tax and free shipping I am sure I saved a bunch. Mowers Direct shipped so fast and i had it in 3 days.

Good as any

I haven't had trimmer but just a few weeks, have found nothing wrong yet, so far does what it was designed to do. Pro. Trimmed one 35 foot row of thick, little finger size stalk tomato vines, two 35 foot rows thickly planted asparagus vines, same size stalk. Used about 1/4 tank fuel, no oil. It did work hard a few times! Only used about 1 1/2 " trimmer line size that came with trimmer. I think it did VERY WELL!!! So far I would recommend this trimmer to a friend.

Operators manual

I bought the trimmer 11/17/11. Can not find anything wrong with the trimmer so far, works great. I do like the cutter height adjuster, not on all others I have looked at. Those are the pros. The con is the operators manual. It does not mention the detent in the throttle control, I thought the detent was a defect, buy the hometown dealer checked all his stock and found it on all of them. The manual should be corrected to eliminate any confusion in the future. I would recommend the trimmer as a good buy.

Broke Back

The string wacker has done wonders for the plant landscape person. My parks and lawns personnel has a bad back and using a regular weedwacker leaves him hurting for a couple of days after he uses it all day. So I bought the Husky for him to use thinking it would be better on his back. Since its arrival and the Mechs putting it together.
