Q: I have the Husqvarna EZ4824 model. My concern is purchasing the right product that provides the correct assembly that is designed for this mower. Will the assembly be a simple plug and play application or will I need to jury-rig the back assembly of the mower to make it fit? by Edward from Connecticut on May 28, 2011
A: Edward - this particular bagger (H348SL) is designed for a tractor, not for a zero turn mower, so this bagger WILL NOT fit on your EZ4824 zero turn mower, no matter how much you jury-rig it. If your EX4824 bagger is a 2009 or newer model year (you didn't state what year you have), then your mower would require a Husqvarna 966 01 81-01 bagging system EZ4824 bagger If your EZ4824 is a 2008 or older model, then you will need to contact Husqvarna at 800-487-5951 and speak with technical support to determine which bagger will fit your mower. If you purchase the correct bagger for your mower, the installation is basically "plug and play". You will not have to do any extra fiddling with the bagger to install it. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: I am purchasing the Husqvarna YTH23V48 (48") 23 HP yard tractor, will the Husqvarna Triple Bagger (H348SL) work on this model? by Steve K from Nevada on May 12, 2011
A: Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, this bagger will work with this model. by Todd, Product Expert
Q: I have a craftman 48" cut bought in 2004 I was told that husqvarna made for sears. the craftsman part number is 24916 Will Husqvarna Triple Bagger (H348SL) fit ?
by Brian Burchart from Michigan on May 08, 2011
A: Sorry Brian, but I can't say for sure that the H348SL bagger will fit, since Sears does not make the technical specs for the Craftsman tractors readily available, and the Husqvarna accessory cross references doesn't reference Sears model numbers. If your Craftsman tractor is a 2004 model, there's about a 95% chance it was made by Husqvarna (actually it was American Yard Products back then). My suggestion would be to contact Husqvarna technical support at 800-487-5951. They should be able to tell your for sure which bagger you need for your Craftsman tractor.
Q: I have a husqvarna model number yth2448 (96015000102), I am looking for a grass catcher and wondering if the product number H348SL would fit this mower? Thanks for you time by Lee Gibson from Idaho on March 19, 2011
A: Thanks for your inquiry. As long as your mower meets the specs below the bagger will work with your tractor.

After doing a lot of research about entry level riding mowers, I decided Husqvarna was my best choice. After that, I started searching local places of business to compare prices. I guess because it is still early spring, I only found one store in my area that had them in stock. I had the option of ordering one from another store and one other place of business said they would have them in stock within 2 weeks. The one that was in stock was $500.00 more than the one Mowers Direct had. Plus, living in TN, the sales tax would have been around $250.00.
I ordered from Mowers Direct, I received the mower and bagger in 4 days. I have had it for a little over 2 weeks. I have mowed my yard twice and have used it to pull a cart to carry tree limbs and debris away. (I had a huge tree cut down in my yard and so it made many trips).
So far I absolutely love the mower! I really like the grass catcher also. I owned an MTD mower at one time (48in cut) and had a grass catcher and I have found the one I purchased for the Husqvarna is much easier to use. I am a woman, 5' 2" tall and I am thrilled that I can reach the pedals comfortably. I mow my Uncles yard often with his high end John Deere mower. The steering on the John Deere is awesome! Of course the price of the Husqvarna is a lot less than the high end John Deere, so I was not expecting too much with the steering of the Husqvarna. What a surprise I got! The steering is not exactly like John Deere, but it is close enough to make me smile!
My yard has some some steep incline and I have no problem at all mowing with the Husqvarna. Even when the grass was damp it did fine. It didn't bog down with the damp grass. I hope it holds up for many years. I would like to know if I should change the oil after so many hours of use, since it is new.
MD RESPONDS: Husqvarna recommends the oil be changed every 50 hours on models with an oil filter (this model does have an oil filter). However, if you do not use the mower for 50 hours by end of season, change the oil. The oil needs to be changed every 50 hours or once a season (just like your car, whichever comes first). You should also check the oil level before each use. For more information, consult your owners manual, or you can download one from the SPECS tab. You can find a helpful maintenance schedule on page 14 of this mowers owners manual.

Just bought this from Mowers Direct and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Delivery was professional and quick and the packaging was perfect. The crate and box completely protected the mower and it wasn't too hard to unpack (does require a good knife too cut the cardboard and detach it from the crate and also needs little bit of work, but only took me about 10-15 minutes). I've been using the tractor now for a few months and I have to say, it's simply the best. It's incredibly well made and super high quality. I cannot believe how powerful, smooth, and easy to use it is. The controls just make sense. Everything was designed with some thought and all the buttons, levers, and knobs are exactly where you'd want them to ensure safe and easy operation.
I have to admit, one of the major selling points and highlights of this mower has to be the easy mower /blade deck adjustment. You have a lever to the left of you that can be adjusted in literally less than a second while driving the tractor. It's incredibly convenient when you might be coming up near uneven ground where there might be a dip and you don't want the deck to scrape the ground. Also comes in handy for lifting the deck if you don't have the blades engaged and are just using it as a tractor (but didn't want to take off the blade deck).
This is truly an amazing machine and although I hope I don't need a new tractor for a loooong time since I just got this, I will be a Husqvarna customer for life. Also wanted to mention I purchased the triple bagger with it. It's very well made and very high quality just like the tractor. It's very easy to assemble/attach and works well. If you are using it for normal mowing of just grass, it's great and takes a while to fill up. If you are doing some fall cleanup and are sucking up leaves and debris with it, it fills up very fast and frequent stops for dumping it out will be necessary, but I still highly recommend it. The bins come out so easily after lifting the top and it takes just seconds to empty. Bottom line: I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TRACTOR TO ANYONE NO MATTER WHAT. It's incredible!!!

Versatile Husqvarna Lawn Tractor
This Husqvarna lawn tractor is one versatile machine. Summer or winter, mowing or plowing, bagging or mulching, your list of options goes on and on.
Husqvarna developed new air induction technology for their tractors, which draws air from the top and bottom of the mower deck to improve grass lift and deliver a superior cut.
The 23-HP engine is more than powerful enough to tackle any lawn or outdoor job: mowing, plowing, or towing.
To keep your blades clean, there is a wash-out port mounted to the mower deck so you simply attach your hose and wash away the extra clippings.
For those who like to bag their grass, buy a Husqvarna Triple Bagger. With 3 bags, you won't need to constantly dump the clippings.
