| New Husqvarna 128C |
| By Chuck Price from (Packwood, WA) |
So far so good, I fueled it up and started on about the 3rd pull. I used it for about 40 minutes and it ran just fine.
It has plenty of power for most jobs- not great on woody plants, but it cut everything else I threw at it: berry vines, thistle, ferns and miscellaneous.
I previously had a Stihl 74 which has 74cc versus 28cc on the Husqvarna, however I wore the Stihl out over the last 10-12 years.
With the 28cc you can't just bull your way into thick grass and vines like you could with the Stihl, but then again it cost half of what I paid for the larger Stihl. The Husqvarna will cut it all down, it just takes a little longer.
Overall I really like the Husqvarna 128C, it's light and has plenty of power for most things. I'll know more by the end of the season. |
