  3 Questions
Q: How long does it take charge the batter after use? How long on the average will the battery last with continuous run.
by Chuck from Idaho on June 14, 2013

A: A standard charge if the battery is completely dead is going to be 10-13 hours. The average run time on a single charge is going to be about 50 minutes depending on the level of grass and type as well as the type of terrain. You will get more strain out of the drive system and motor if you deal with hills.
by Jose, Product Expert
Q: Does this have a removeable battery?
by Jk from South Carolina on May 06, 2013

A: JK - yes, the 36-volt battery on the Greenworks 25272 cordless mower is removable if you wish to charge it away from where the mower is stored.
by Jose, Product Expert
Q: Does model #25272 mower also mulch?
by Mary Ann Hutchison from Louisiana on March 27, 2013

A: Mary Ann - the Greenworks 25272 mower has 3-in-1 capability, so it will mulch, bag or side discharge grass clippings. The grass collection bag and mulch plug are included in the carton with the mower.

1st Time Lawn Mower
We just bought a house and this was the first time I've actually mowed a lawn (at the age of 33). I knew I wanted to get a cordless, electric mower and I'm glad we did. It's quiet, and best of all, no stinky, messy gas. I'm a pretty small person and this mower is easy to use even without the self propel option. Our yard is kind of lumpy, so using the self propel is great. I've already recommended this mower and website to people. I do recommend the first time you use it though, set the height... more

Time Consuming
Mower arrived within 5 days, and was easy to assemble. Very disappointed in speed of mower. I am used to walking much faster. The best solution would be to design a variable speed control for this mower. Also, the poor quality of the plastic wheels surprised me. One of my wheels is defective in that the plastic mold has a crimp in it, that causes excessive movement. I doubt that this wheel will last very long. Battery capacity is another problem. I used to complete my lawn in one hour max. Now... more
Pros: Quiet, Easy To Use, Light Weight, Easy To Store
Cons: Low Quality, Battery Life, Plastic Wheels

Battery Life
This is my second season, I got it last May 16th,2013 and my battery life is all but gone. Fully charged last about 10 mins. I expect the battery has went bad should be under warranty waiting to hear from them. First season it lasted a good 40 mins. When I stored the battery it was in the house and I did what the book said to do to keep the battery life up. I expect the battery to go down hill but not that fast. At $139.99 needs to do better than that. Waiting to mow and still love the mower.... more
Pros: Quiet, Easy To Use, Easy To Store, Reliable

Good Machine, Handle Bar Needs Work
Overall a great mower. The charge lasts long enough to finish my yard front and back about 45 minutes with some charge left but definitely needs recharging before next mowing. I have a small side hill that has always been a pain but now after 25 yrs is getting difficult which is why I got the self propelled model. That is fantastic! That was well worth the purchase price the first time I used it. My only complaint is with the handle on almost every turn as I press down on the handle to raise... more

Free At Last, Free At Last - From Electrical Cords That Is
I have mowed my lawn several times now and I almost look forward to the next time. Crazy, eh? For years I had an electrical cord tied to my electric mower and I got more and more frustrated at having to untangle that cord every few minutes. Now, I simply pull out my mower, start the motor and off I go. My front and back yards are not large and I have been able to mow twice before recharging the battery. Unfolding the handle is literally a snap and easy to do. Amazingly the bag is able to... more

Ok For Small, Basic Job
First, the power connection was broken and I had to replace stripped screws before first use. The unit mows great but the self propel feature is slow and bogs down on uneven ground.
Pros: Quiet, Easy To Use, Features
Cons: Heavy, Self Propel Is Slow And Weak

We'll See
Have used this a few times at this point. Easy to use and quiet. A little disappointed in battery storage. I have about 7000 sf of mowable lawn. I expected the mower to handle on one charge, but has shown lost power 2/3s through.
Pros: Quiet, Easy To Use, Easy To Store, Price
Cons: Battery Storage
