  3 Questions
Q: How long does it take charge the batter after use? How long on the average will the battery last with continuous run.
by Chuck from Idaho on June 14, 2013

A: A standard charge if the battery is completely dead is going to be 10-13 hours. The average run time on a single charge is going to be about 50 minutes depending on the level of grass and type as well as the type of terrain. You will get more strain out of the drive system and motor if you deal with hills.
by Jose, Product Expert

Q: Does this have a removeable battery?
by Jk from South Carolina on May 06, 2013

A: JK - yes, the 36-volt battery on the Greenworks 25272 cordless mower is removable if you wish to charge it away from where the mower is stored.
by Jose, Product Expert

Q: Does model #25272 mower also mulch?
by Mary Ann Hutchison from Louisiana on March 27, 2013

A: Mary Ann - the Greenworks 25272 mower has 3-in-1 capability, so it will mulch, bag or side discharge grass clippings. The grass collection bag and mulch plug are included in the carton with the mower.

Battery Life
This is my second season, I got it last May 16th,2013 and my battery life is all but gone. Fully charged last about 10 mins. I expect the battery has went bad should be under warranty waiting to hear from them. First season it lasted a good 40 mins. When I stored the battery it was in the house and I did what the book said to do to keep the battery life up. I expect the battery to go down hill but not that fast. At $139.99 needs to do better than that. Waiting to mow and still love the mower.... more

We'll See
Have used this a few times at this point. Easy to use and quiet. A little disappointed in battery storage. I have about 7000 sf of mowable lawn. I expected the mower to handle on one charge, but has shown lost power 2/3s through.
Pros: Quiet, Easy To Use, Easy To Store, Price
Cons: Battery Storage

Machine With Batteries
After being injured, I could not pull a string to start my gasoline powered mower, so decided to try this electric mower, where I can start the machine with pressing the knob....it is perfect....'strong it nearly pulls me over the lawn! Love it!

Fantastic!
I was very, very apprehensive about buying an electric mower, concerned that it wouldn't make it through my thick, lush St. Augustine grass. I used it for the first time today and it surpassed all my expectations! I am a lady who would rather do anything than yard work, this was almost fun (that is high praise). It was super easy to start, it self propelled itself through my yard with ease! It does not move too fast or too slow. I use the mulching feature (less manual work than the grass... more

Great Mower
I wanted to get rid of a gas mower. My lawn has hills and some gas mowers flood, and they're bad for the environment. This mower made me very happy. No more gas engine and it's self-propelled, so the hills are much easier. It charges up overnight and starts right up. No pulling my arm out of socket! As a female, all of these features made it appealing, and the price is great--it will pay for itself in 6 uses no more paying the lawn guy! The red and green charging lights don't light up, but... more

1st Time Lawn Mower
We just bought a house and this was the first time I've actually mowed a lawn (at the age of 33). I knew I wanted to get a cordless, electric mower and I'm glad we did. It's quiet, and best of all, no stinky, messy gas. I'm a pretty small person and this mower is easy to use even without the self propel option. Our yard is kind of lumpy, so using the self propel is great. I've already recommended this mower and website to people. I do recommend the first time you use it though, set the height... more

A Good But Not Great Mower
The mower took around 4 chargers until it would work properly. After that I could easily do my entire lawn (800sqft Kentucky bluegrass) in a single charge. I have been very happy with the mower I only wish I had purchased a different model. All the other models use new lithium ion batteries which are lighter, charg quicker, and do not wind down in power as the charge depletes. This mower does not use a lithium ion battery but an outdated lead citrate battery. It works fine for my yard, but... more

Wild Chase Behind A Geat Piece Of Equipment
Love the maintenance free aspect. The battery charging is easy and very convenient (but I got no read-out the third time I charged the mower). The Self Propelled aspect is another story; pulled at very fast pace around the yard or just keep it on and play like it is a push-mower. Cutting deck and Height levels are as advertised. The cam lock on the handle is very convenient and easy to operate. If I didn't have to run or be dragged or push it, it would be really great. I've tried... more

10 To 13 Hours To Re-charge?
Up until it quit running because the battery needed re-charged I loved it. Was mowing the lawn had company coming that afternoon. Suddenly it just quit. Thinking it would only take about an hour for it to re-charge, I wasn't worried. Sat down with the instruction manual only to find out it would take 10 to 13 hours to re-charge. Could not let the yard remain only half-mowed ... had to borrow the neighbors gasoline powered one to finish mowing before company arrived (I bought this mower for... more

Great Mower
LOVE IT! I have only used it three times so far but it has passed all my expectations. SO easy to start! So easy to push, I forgot I bought the self-propelled model until I was half way finished with the lawn. Other that the smooth, easy, reliable starting, I am impressed with the bag fill. This is the first mower I have ever owned that actually filled the bag from the back and didn't clog up at the front. I get a full bag and I get it after mowing most of the lawn instead of the normal... more
