Q: I need a self propelled walk behind electric cordless lawn mower for an average size urban level lawn. Which one do you recommend? Remember it has to be self propelled cordless. Thanks by P. Jamison from Illinois on March 20, 2011
A: Thanks for your inquiry. These Greenworks models are some of the best cordless mowers you will find and would be a great choice for your application. However we do not carry any self propelled cordless mowers. by Todd, Product Expert
The GreenWorks 25222 cordless electric mower helps turn a dreaded, weekend task into an eco-friendly pleasure. This battery-powered mower does it all - mowing, discharging, and mulching – without gasoline fumes or emissions.
The GreenWorks 25222 is efficient and quiet. Fire it up and starts mowing with an easy-to-use electric start. The 24-volt rechargeable battery should give you enough juice to mow up to a 1/3 acre on a full charge.
The rechargeable battery does make this mower kind of heavy, so if you have a petite build, you may want to consider a different mower.
This mower also comes with GreenWorks industry leading 4 YEAR WARRANTY –up to twice the warranty coverage of other electric mowers.
So if you want the freedom to mow your yard without being tethered to an extension cord, the GreenWorks 25222 cordless electric mower will give you a beautiful yard without sacrificing power, performance or usability. Stop pulling cords, stop filling gas cans, and stop harming the environment.

It Arrived Fine
I've only mowed twice so far. One day I mowed the front yard, then charged the battery over night. Then I mowed the back yard the next day. It took the charge just fine. It's too early to tell for the long run, but it's working just fine right now.

won't start
I mowed 3/4 of my yard, which is quite small, trailer court size. The battery went dead. I brought battery in, charged it. Now it won't even turn over. The charger lights up red, turns green within a few minutes, but it is not a bright green, battery shows three green lights. Ready to send it back.
