I have had my Earthwise cordless mower for 2 seasons and it still has the same power it had when it was new. For those having problems with the battery dying and not recharging, make sure you do the following:
1) In the off season store the battery in a warm (50° to 80°) location. Do not let it sit in the mower all winter, this will definitely kill the battery life.
2) Charge the battery to a full charge and them remove from charging. Mine only takes between 12-24 hours to fully charge. Leaving the battery plugged in 24/7 will shorten the entire battery life and the charge life.
I went from your standard 22" cut gas mower to the 20" Earthwise cordless mower and will never go back. This mower is much more quite and less expensive to run and maintain. I would highly recommend this mower for anyone with an average size yard (Approx. 5,000 sq. ft.).
