Never Buy An Earthquake Edger
I bought a new Earthquake edger from Lowes on 9/27/13. Assembled it, followed starting instructions, and started the edger. It ran on full throttle however, it would not idle. If I eased off on the throttle the edger would stop. On Monday 9/30/13 I phoned the manufacture's representative, described the problem and requested assistance. The rep said "those edgers don't like to idle. Perhaps you need to take it to a suggested repair shop and have the carburetor adjusted. I asked... more

Big Mistake
I just used my Earthquake edger for the first time yesterday and I made a big mistake by buying this edger. It is loud and does not do a good job. I had to go back and re edge everything and it still didn't perform as expected. I should have read the review first and realized that a 43cc edger was too small. DO NOT buy this edger, if you do you will be disappointed.
Pros: Price, Light Weight
Cons: Durability, Low Quality, Unreliable

Do Not Buy An Earthquake Lawn Edger
I bought an Earthquake WE45. After I assembled it, it didn't work. I was told by Earthquake, I could not return it, but I was stuck with a lemon. I had to drive over 20 miles to the closest dealer for repair. The repair person told me it was a piece of junk. The Earthquake customer service person could not care less about my out-of-pocket expenses or my time.

I would have given this no stars, but I was forced to give it at least 1.
Cons: Low Quality, Difficult To Use, Unreliable, Durability

You Get What You Pay For
I had been using a weed eater brand edger and it was cheaper, lighter and did not do near as good as job as the Earthquake WE43. I have edged only once, but it does do a much better job. I hope it is durable.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Quiet, Price
