| Nice While It Lasted |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder from (Bolingbrook, IL) |
Ariens has two versions of an entry-level residential zero turn lawn mower.
Ariens is doing the right thing by taking cost out of the 2009 version. However, we were able to secure the vastly superior 2008 model at closeout prices.
We recommend the 2008 closeout instead for 6 important reasons:
1. It features a more powerful 16.5-HP instead of a 13-HP engine.
2. The deck has a "doubler plate" to prevent it from cracking. The new version doesn't have the reinforcement.
3. It has rust-resistant aluminum instead of steel spindles.
4. The tubular welded-frame is not stamped, reducing vibration and extending it's life span.
5. It has more comfortable mid-back seat instead of a low-back.
6. It has an electric clutch with consistent blade engagement for longer belt life.
The closeouts are higher-quality machines for less money. This great value won't last until long.
Once we're sold out, these zero turns will be gone forever. |

| Best Mower Around!! |
| By Mark Derzak from (Walhalla, ND) |
I just used the Zoom 1634 for the first time. This thing is wonderful and built like a tank. The welded frame and solid components make it a long lasting unit!
But, don't let all that heavy duty construction make you think that this is a slow and bulky machine. It is not! This unit is fast and very easy to steer.
The 34 inch deck makes a excellent cut and allows access to areas that larger Zero Turns just can't get into! It has plenty of power and speed.
I also bought the non-power bagger! This is an outstanding piece of engineering and picks up everything on the lawn, including grass, leaves, sticks and pine cones. It is heavy duty and looks like it was built to last longer than most bagging units- it makes the others look "junky" in comparison.
The most recent accessory that I purchased was the hood kit. This gives the unit the final touch and will make all of your friends and enemies very jealous!!
I can't say enough good things about this mower except that I don't work for the company, and I think you should try one out! |

| Ariens Zoom® Homeowner (34") 16.5-HP Zero Turning Radius Lawn Mower Review |
| By Gerrell DeBardelaben from (Montgomery, AL) |
This is a well put together mower for the money. I've only had it a few days, and so far so good.
Great quality compared to some of the residential models at Lowe's and other local stores.
I'm glad that I purchased this one. Now I've got to go, there is more grass to cut.. |

| Go Cart With A Mowing Deck |
| By Gary Jones from (Blanchester, OH) |
When they named this the Zoom they weren't kidding! What used to take almost 3 hours with a push mower now gets done in half the time.
Uneven terrain and trees are no problem. Once you get the hang of the steering bars, it turns on a dime.
The lawn looks great, and I have a pretty good time getting it done (but don't tell my wife!) |
