| Why the Closeout? |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder from (Bolingbrook, IL) |
We know what you're thinking. If this is such a great lawn mower, why are you closing it out?
Actually, we're not closing it out. Ariens is. They decided to build their new 2009 Blade Runner series with Kohler instead of an electric start Honda engines.
Yes, Kohler builds a high-quality engine. So does Honda. The biggest difference is the price. The electric start Honda engines are simply less expensive.
Ariens wanted to liquidate the Honda versions, so they can could start marketing the new Kohler versions.
We see a great value in these machines and took a bunch at a reduced price, passing the savings onto you.
Supplies are limited. One they're gone they're gone forever. |

| Best lawnmower I've ever owned |
| By Jeff Goldstein from (Fair Lawn, NJ) |
I ordered the machine on Thursday, and it arrived at my home the following Tuesday.
I put the handle on the machine, added oil and gas, attached the bag turned the key (I didn't even have to charge the battery!) and it started in less than 2 seconds.
Cutting is beyond belief, and the self propelled option on the Ariens is one of the best there is.
Bagging is very efficient as the bag is vented and offers no resistance to grass, leaves, etc.
Handling is excellent, and since I have a bad shoulder I found I am still able to get professional results with little effort.
I chose this model because of the Honda motor, but I'm sure the Kohler performs as well. Since I wanted electric start, this particular model was the way to go.
If you are thinking a cheaper machine, DON'T. Ariens last for years and everyone I know who has one won't give it up. |

| Ariens Blade Runner Series |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder from (Bolingbrook, IL) |
Lawn mowers are a lot like cars. Every lawn mower cuts gas. Every car drives.
However, there are different brands of cars, ranging from simple to luxurious.
The Ariens Blade Runner Series is somewhere in the middle. It isn't cheap, but it lacks some of the extra features found on Ariens Classic series.
Ariens makes three versions of the Blade Runner lawn mower. The first two are nearly identical. One is a push mower; the other is self-propelled.
The most expensive version, however, is really unique. It features an ELECTRIC START HONDA engine instead of the recoil Kohler engine.
If you have troubles pulling the recoil handle, you should seriously consider the electric start option. |
