Q: the ariens zero turn mowers, do they have snow blowers available? and if so are they easy to mount? just trying to cut back on the number of gas engines to maintain. thanks Troy by Troy Donth from Minnesota on June 11, 2011
A: Troy - Ariens does make a snow blower attachment that mounts to the front of their zero turn mowers. I would say the installation is moderate in terms of ease. We don't stock the snow blower attachment, but we would be able to special order it for you if you decide you want one. To be honest, the snow blower attachment is not a big seller, mostly because of the handling and traction of a zero turn mower on snow and ice. The most fun I have ever had cutting grass
I recently inherited a large piece of property of which roughly two acres get cut. Included with the property was an old yard machine lawn tractor that had seen better days. I visited a big box store which has this mower listed, but not in stock. So after a little searching I found Mowersdirect.com and kept the sales tax that I would have spent at the big box store, and it arrived fast. This is a quality mower that makes work fun!

Faster than 72" tow behind
I have a Bush Hog 72" finish mower for use behind 32 HP tractor. The Ariens 48" Zoom cut my mowing time in less than half. It is a great machine, easy to operate, and is very heavy duty. I use it at home and for a rental property, 6 acres total. Only drawback is that because it is so fast, it is hard to control on hills.
