The delivery driver did not get delivery instructions that I entered when placing the order, I assume that was the fault of the delivery company.

It did not cause any real problems, because driver called me the morning of the delivery. Be prepared for product to possibly be delivered by a large semi, I had it delivered to a neighbor 1 mile up the road from me after I found that out. Otherwise, the semi would not have been able to turn around.

Good price, several hundred less then any local dealer, plus no additional taxes or delivery charge.

I would recommend Mowers Direct to anyone.

We always request that the freight company call you to set up a convenient delivery time- we do all we can to make sure your purchase is easy and convenient, with no surprises.

I noticed a good amount of oil on the garage floor directly under the mower about 5 weeks ago. I emailed Ariens and asked if they could send out a tech - they do not offer this service.

I have no way of getting this mower to a dealer, so I asked a friend if I could borrow his truck. Today was the first free day he had.

The Ariens rep I had emailed suggested I take the unit to one of two places...the 1st being Campbell's Equipment, in Forrest Park, Ga. Sadly, Campbell's would not take the unit, and stated 3 things:

1) They would not take the machine without a receipt (I had mine)
2) They would not take the mower unless I filled out my product warranty card (I hadn't, but that seemed like a fair and easy request).
3) Since I did not purchase the mower at Campbell's, "people like me" weren't given priority, and they stated it would take 6 or more weeks before they could get to me, after they had serviced the customers who bought directly from them.

Mowers Direct was made aware that I encountered discrimination for buying online from both dealers Ariens recommended. The second dealer that took the machine stated that I "got what I paid for".

I've resorted to cutting my grass with my 6 year old Honda mower....which has never leaked, or failed to start. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in the mower and level of service thus far.

MD RESPONDS: We escalated your situation to our rep at Ariens to help the Service Center understand they will make more money in the long run from offering good service than they will from being short-sighted bigots.

Ariens is working closely with them to make sure your mower is returned to you in a timely fashion and top-notch condition, since such bias is not part of their Warranty Program.

We will also work directly with B&B to help out with your transportation issues. You should have many years of happy mowing!

I have a one acre lot and have used my Ariens 34" Zero Turn mower six times. The front and sides of my home are manicured and easy to mow. The majority of my back yard is fairly level and was a bit wild.

The grass was about mid-thigh level on my fist cutting and I was very concerned about this 13.5 hp mower being up to the challenge.

I had the blade set to the highest setting and it ripped through it very well. There were a few holes and bumps identified along the way and, I probably used this mower beyond its intended use.

The blade belt slipped off a pulley on the first mowing but it was an easy fix. The holes are now filled and the bumps leveled.

I have not had another problem since. Again, I was a bit rough on it during the first cutting.

I have several trees, plants and other obstacles in my yard. This is the perfect mower for my needs and I am extremely happy with it.

It's sturdy, fast and well built.

I had my mower less than 2 weeks when the brake locked up and I was unable to move the mower.

I had to call a repair facility to come to my location to get them to release the brake. Unfortunately I was not at home at the time and it was a weekend. (They were not an authorized dealer) I was told that the rod that goes from the brake handle back was bent. They straightened the rod and charged me $126 for pick up, delivery & repair.

Two weeks later it happened again. This time I took it to a authorized dealer as per Ariens internet site. I told them the problem and they repaired it. They straightened the rod and welded another piece of steel on the rod to strengthen it.

I shopped for some time because I wanted a ZTR but not a large deck due to limited storage space.

This beauty cut my mowing and trim time in half, and takes up only a small area in my 3 car garage.

It has run great and been a snap to service. I would suggest the mulch kit unless you like a lot of clippings- it's a small price to pay vs. the bagger at nearly $500.

The only problem I have had, which seems to be an extremely common issue, is a clogged fuel line which I was able to fix in minutes. (And no one in the family feels I am "Joe Mechanic".)

If you own an acre or less, have a lot of stuff to mow around, or standard size fence gates to get through, buy this today!
