Wish I had my money back!
I used the mower last summer and it worked okay but did have trouble getting it started and keeping it running.
Many times I had to go over an area several times to get the grass cut completely. It is heavy and hard to manuever in a small space, it is very easy to lose the connection.
This summer (after using it only one season) I cannot get it started at all. I would not recommend this mower to anyone and wish I had my money back.

All-Power Electric Reel Mower
This mower is a total waste of money! I was able to cut or scalp my lawn for a while, but it would not start again- even after it was recharged.
I had to go back to my 30 year-old gas mower that is more reliable. If this is some kind of joke, it isn't very funny.
This mower is a piece of junk.

Still scratching my head
I looked at the reviews for this mower, one of which has a video showing what a piece of junk it is.
The video appears to have been produced by Mowers Direct.com. If it's such a piece of junk and you made a video to show as much, why do you still offer it for sale????

The engine finally broke on my American made reel mower which has been worked to death for the last 30 years. So, I purchased this piece of junk thinking it might replace my McLane mower.
The first time I used it, the handle broke off. I was able to replace the small pin that the handle pivots on. I was then able to cut my grass a couple of times.
Now I am in the process of searching the web for information on why it will not take a charge.
This All-Power mower cuts the grass all right but rolls down anything over 2 inches high- so forget the weeds. You can't hear the motor because the reel makes such a dreadful noise against the sheet metal knife.

This is a very loud lawn mower
I brought this lawn mower thinking it would be good for the environment.
This mower produces more noise than my gas lawn mower. It also had a very strong rubber tire smell after I removed it from the package. The smell almost made me very sick. I had to air the lawn mower in my backyard for 2 weeks before attempting to use it.
I think this is a very bad product, I definitely will not recommend it to anyone.

Nice Concept... If It Worked.
The GoMow cordless lawn mower from All-Power is a great concept.
It's basically a reel lawn mower, using a rechargeable battery to spin the blades instead old fashioned muscle.
In theory, you don't have to push as hard because the blades are already spinning.
The assembly was easy, until we had to attach the handle to the mower.
The directions were vague, but we eventually figured out that the handle snapped inside the mower - not the adjustable roller.
The mower itself was okay at best. We expected the cordless electric motor to be much quieter, and the bag barely caught the grass.
The biggest disappointment was the cutting. The blade got stuck multiple times, and we had to reset the system frequently.
Back to the drawing board for the GoMow. Maybe with some rework, the great idea can become a great reality.

Should have spent the extra $ ...
For starters, I waited about a month for the mower because the shipper got my address wrong, so my grass had to be cut (with a trimmer, because I didn't have a lawnmower) before it could be mowed with this mower.
Then, I guess I wasn't sure what to expect, so when it was cheaply made, I wasn't too surprised, but a little disappointed. No, you don't have to pull the handle to start it, but you have to hold a handle to keep it going, which is HARD to do when you're trying to push the thing around your yard.
It stops frequently and I have to reset it constantly. It doesn't cut evenly, and will NOT cut some of the tufted rye grass that I have in spots in my yard.
If I had a flat little even yard, it might be better. But even then, the noise is terrible! I thought an electric mower would be quiet, because that's a selling point on some of the other brands. This one is certainly not. I'll use it for a year and upgrade, hopefully! I don't even feel like I'm helping the environment (especially with noise pollution) because the thing's made in China.
At this point I would definitely spend the extra for a different mower. In other words, I would NOT recommend this mower. Wait, and maybe they'll come out with a self-propelled, electric, cordless mower... that doesn't cost a fortune.

GoMow not what I expected; love the ProMow 20"
After an up close and personal operation of this mower I was not very happy with the performance.
The unit was small and compact and looked like it would do what I needed- but when it came down to push and shove, it just didn't cut it. Literally!
I had trouble getting this thing to work and once I did, it just stopped again. I couldn't keep the power handle completely squeezed which required too much to get it to work. Talk about frustrating!!
Don't get me wrong, it did cut my grass; or should I say trim the top and it shot out everywhere except into the basket. This is one mower that I definitely would not recommend.
Now, the service I received from Mowers Direct was great. When I called them someone actually answered and was knowledgeable and recommended a completely different mower.
I ended up buying a regular reel mower from them which ended up being better then I expected.
